An oversight, but one apparently easily fixed.
I guess that what 10.1 will be for.

Can confirm, rolling my graphics drivers back has not stopped the freezing. Just came home to find my desktop hard-locked.

Yeah. I think it's about October IIRC.
Yeah. I think it's about October IIRC.
My Dad will most likely have to take this laptop to Africa, I'm not sure if I should just revert back to Windows 8. I already have backups for whatever stuff I needed so downgrading to Win 8 again wouldn't be such a big issue. [editline]20th July 2015[/editline] Nevermind that, he'll be taking something else, so it won't really matter.
Yeah. I think it's about October IIRC.
Apparently it has no time bomb "There's no watermark on the lower-right corner of the desktop, nor is there an expiration "time bomb," as has been the case with all previous Preview builds." Source
Is it likely that we could get an update for the GA release? I can't wait to switch to Windows 10 on my main Desktop, pretty excited about it.

Cortana is available in the following countries/regions: China, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States. Cortana is available in these languages: Chinese (Simplified), English (U.K.), English (U.S.), French, Italian, German, and Spanish To use Cortana, all these settings must be set to the same language:•Languages (this is your device language) •Speech language (language pack must be installed) •Country or region Note: If you change your region, you might not be able to shop at Store, or use things you've purchased, like memberships and subscriptions, games, movies, TV, and music.
Are they blocking Cortana by IP address now, like why in the fuck isn't it available in Australia or New Zealand in the first place
I don't understand why you can't just select Cortana to be english, I don't mind if it gives me information in english even though I'm dutch, I'd probably prefer it.
Is it possible to download the Windows 10 insider ISO when on a Mac? I want to use bootcamp to install Windows 10 but it seems the option is grayed out. Also can anybody say how much of a boost in gaming performance would you get by just changing to Windows on a Macbook Pro 2014 base model? I have heard it can sometimes double framerates
This disappoints me a little, i was really looking forward to using this OS but now I don't know if I want to.
This is preview-only for feedback purposes.
Let's be honest, for the average user who's more concerned with Facebook than privacy, all of those are a good thing. Especially the forced antivirus thing, that's a godsend for people who work IT. For the privacy conscious, like yourself, they're not so great. However, if you're fine with not having Cortana (which means that search bar only does system-wide search), then most of that's easy to disable. Real time protection goes away when you install another antivirus as well, I believe, so that's not so big a concern. Really, it only makes sense that they want to collect user data and analytics, it's how they know what to change in the next release. Besides, if you're using any social media platform (or most browsers), then you've already sworn away your expectations of privacy. In which case, it's just another drop in the bucket.
This is preview-only for feedback purposes.
I saw this when installing non-preview though? Maybe I used the wrong iso.
I saw this when installing non-preview though? Maybe I used the wrong iso.
It's still preview. Preview doesn't end until the 29th.

Fresh install of Windows 10 and GTA V can't start. "Grand Theft Auto V exited unexpectedly" Anyone else having this or had this?

Most likely a driver issue

It's even worse when it comes to some games, I need to change that stuff in the registry because they start in Polish and there's no way to change that in the menu. I guess I can forget about ever using Cortana, then.
My open\save file dialogs don't remember sorting settings that I need for certain folders, am I the only one with this problem? (10240)
It wasn't only for dialogs, but for entire system: icon layout on desktop didn't save and any folders' settings too. The Shell Bags in registry that contain this information just were not created and I had no idea what caused it in the first place and nothing helped. So I just reinstalled out of despair, hours wasted.
