My screen get this too (on Linux); for me, it's because my primary monitor updates at 59.93 Hz, while my secondary monitor refreshes at 60.08 Hz; as a result, the secondary display is not v-synced correctly.
Yeah, I fixed it by changing both monitors to 60Hz. My left / main monitor runs at 76Hz, and my right at 60Hz. Only the right was stuffing up. Still a problem with the drivers though as I've never seen that issue before.
Wow, these nvidia drivers are the best. My second screen is getting screen tearing and other weird graphical glitches like no tomorrow. Did they even test these drivers before handing them off to Microsoft? I'm not on the Fast ring either. [editline]23rd July 2015[/editline] Exactly the problem I'm having...
I didn't have tearing, but I have some fucked up horizontal artifacts that randomly appear from time to time. I swear if they're publishing beta drivers :v:
It's WHQL signed. I don't think they do that with beta drivers? This pretty much confirmed why I don't like the idea of drivers being pushed out. I'm not on the fast ring either, so it's just borked in general.
I'd be sort of fine with normal updates being forced through Windows Update, but they really need to add an option to block third-party software, otherwise a lot of people that just happen to be unlucky with drivers will just revert to Windows 7/8.1. It's all fine and dandy to say you have no problems so you don't care, but not everyone is as lucky, and I'd rather not have the extra work of having to fix issues that come unto my devices and those of my family in the coming years.
isn't it just for windows 10 home? i like to keep updates enabled but have them give me a notification that there is stuff to install, like the yellow text on the log in screen in 8.1
Most of my family uses Home, I'd be using home if I bought a new laptop right now. Should I have to pay to fix mistakes from third-party companies, should my family have to do so?
so this xbox streaming is pretty good :~) [t]http://i.imgur.com/A4DWQND.jpg[/t] no sound either. [editline]23rd July 2015[/editline] its like im playing a twitch stream
Turn the settings to high. Works fine for me.
By the way I would advise you guys to NOT USE CCLEANER ON WINDOWS 10. It breaks everything
By the way I would advise you guys to NOT USE CCLEANER ON WINDOWS 10. It breaks everything
how does it break everything? are you sure the widely used and useful program was the problem? did you really expect a system maintenance program to work flawlessly on an os that has not been formally released yet?
He's just giving a warning, it doesn't look like he's saying anything bad about ccleaner.
What's the point of using CCleaner anyway? The only thing I do occasionally is clear the %temp% folder and that's about it. I feel as if CCleaner could potentially break too much stuff. I just use Geek Unninstaller if I want no registry entries to be left behind when I remove something.
how does it break everything? are you sure the widely used and useful program was the problem? did you really expect a system maintenance program to work flawlessly on an os that has not been formally released yet?
As soon as it cleaned, both Chrome and Edge wouldn't launch, steam games stopped working, search system stopped working, start menu stopped working, Winkey stopped working, etc. I restarted my computer and it didn't even get to the logon screen so I had to do a refresh. I'm sure it's the program since I created a restore point and ran CCleaner and everything went bananas again. I've never had any problems with the program, I think it's pretty good. I'm just warning about possible consequences of using it on Windows 10. I don't expect a program to work flawlessly on an OS that has not been released yet even though in previous builds it worked just fine. And I also don't expect a program that used to work well to almost kill my computer.
has ms decided if windows 10 is going to be released on dreamspark
They have the technical preview up on dreamspark now, I'm sure it will at some point. Not sure if it will be up on the 29th though. 8.1 and 7 are up, you could just install those and upgrade it.
I've been using CCleaner since 9926, literally as the replacement function for clicking "Empty Recycle Bin" and I have had no issues with it. It's set to delete everything except cookies and history from Chrome. (Not deleting history because I like to live life on the edge...)

The only way for me to fix this is to turn down the main monitor down to 60hz. But that is really annoying
I had issues when checking this thread earlier. I had horrible tearing and my second monitor wasn't even showing as connected. I checked my updates and sure enough 353.54 was sitting as downloaded and restart was required. I went into the xbox app and turned off Xbox DVR and restarted so the update could finish (I had a security update as well) and now I have no tearing issues at all on my 560M.
My card had been occasionally flickering more often but otherwise I haven't had problems. EVGA 980 here
Turn the settings to high. Works fine for me.
it crashes when i set it to high

then I guess i'm secretly married to murphy's law
My card had been occasionally flickering more often but otherwise I haven't had problems. EVGA 980 here
Tons of flickering on the 970 too.. These drivers are just getting worse
Are those drivers made for Windows 10 / Beta drivers? AMDs 13.7, while WHQL release, still randomly crashes. I've had temporary display crashes while playing Terraria and browsing Chrome.

Does anyone have any fixes to the whole Dualshock 3/4 problem? Apparently Windows 10 removed DirectInput meaning Xinput wrappers won't work. Makes it extremely difficult to play Way of the Samurai 4 without an Xbox controller...

Did a bit of poking around with yesturday's nvidia update. I think they're trying to test out microsoft's update system, as the drivers distributed were only given to win10 customers, and were not released outside of microsoft's servers, as download links were only found as direct links from windows update itself. still bullshit how it's bugged on several cards

http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Controller:DualShock_3 I've setup everything in a zip file already. The MotionInJoy removal instructions are a bit unfished right now, but they should work okay, I would reformat if you installed MotionInJoy though.
