Ever since I started using the Windows 10 Insider Preview I've been having a very annoying issue regarding users and logins. Whenever I turn the PC on it always logs in to the last user that was active unless that user has a password and I can't find any settings anywhere that change this. And I can't find anyone else having the same issue.
Dunno if you guys saw it but there are several Windows Phone apps that can be used on Windows 10 by downloading them through the store, including the mobile version of Office :v:

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with Nvidia drivers disappearing, Microsoft sure have fucked up here. How can they not learn its a bad idea to remove drivers before a shutdown or restart.

Hello 'murica, When are dualshock 4 gamepads gonna work on Windows 10 ? Plz I don't wanna go back to windows 8
Hello 'murica, When are dualshock 4 gamepads gonna work on Windows 10 ? Plz I don't wanna go back to windows 8
Works for me, USB only for native ds shit otherwise https://github.com/Jays2Kings/DS4Windows is what everyone uses
Hello 'murica, When are dualshock 4 gamepads gonna work on Windows 10 ? Plz I don't wanna go back to windows 8
What have you done to attempt to get it working so far?
ONLY 4 DAYS BOYS [sp]but probably almost everyone in this thread is using windows 10 already so i dunno if this counts as a shitpost or not[/sp]
What have you done to attempt to get it working so far?
I use DS4Windows, and everything works except the most useful option which is the hide DS4 Controller option, without it I can't play 99 % of the games, including both dark souls, project cars, phantasy star online 2. As I searched everywhere in the web, the developer of ds4windows himself told he can't do anything about that and hope Microsoft will fix this. But if you guys have any tips to get it working, I would really appreciate. I think I did everything I could to make it work, and failed. ( see https://github.com/Jays2Kings/DS4Windows/issues/26 ) By the way, when adding an account on Mail or Calendar app, I get this shit : http://puu.sh/jclRj/0472b44b96.jpg ( hello from France ) And there seems to be no fix for this too. I'm on the RTM version which is the build 10240. Another information, I upgraded from Windows 8.1 pro.

Question: my brother is on Windows 7 Enterprise, one of the editions you can't upgrade to Windows 10. So I bought him a Windows 8.1 Pro key but now I'm wondering if he has to install Windows 8.1 first before he can download the Windows 10 upgrade, or is there a way to instantly hop to Windows 10 by just providing the Windows 8.1 key?

I just got the DS4 to work on every of my games. Here is what I did to make the hide ds4 work with ds4windows: - Uncheck Hide ds4 if checked - Check Hide ds4 - Launch the game - While in game, unplug the ds4 then plug it Hope it helps.
Just cloned an old ssd with win7 to my brand new one and stuck it in my pc and now it's doing 110 updates. Windows 10 here I come. :toot:
I can't tell if this is a Windows 10 issue but with Vegas Pro 13 it's likely to crash more often yet nothing has changed from any of my renders. Has anyone had issues with Vegas?
It's a nvidia driver bug, they just released a hotfix you can download.
I'm still gonna hold off on Win 10 cause still seems pretty dysfunctional imo.
I'm having trouble finding some info. I want to boot off my primary drive and have the user data (libraries, documents, programs, w/e) on my secondary drive. I heard this causes Windows 8.1 to malfunction, is the same true of 10?
Damn, my dad is lucky. We found a $150 PC of really decent specs, and it came refurbished and preloaded with Windows 7 ultimate. Does 7 ultimate qualify him for a Win 10 ultimate install, or does it need to be 8.1 ultimate?
100% isn't gonna be a legit install of ultimate. Typically unless its a stupid high spec where someone clearly has to much money they arn't going to have legit ultimate.

Like the OS is fine, but really we're waiting for drivers to be released that are fully compatible with our products

I know how MS likes to push bad updates, or not even bother testing a bunch of updates. The VM I've been playing with it on has had a lot of issues, granted it's probably VM related but I'm not convinced yet that it's a good idea to make it my primary OS.
You should try it on your hardware with an actual drive before you judge it. I doubt most VM software has support for 10240.
You can keep EVERYTHING if you want. It can keep everything exactly the way it was, all programs installed and everything.
I added my Microsoft account so I could use the Xbox app and etc...now it's making me sign into my PC with my Microsoft account rather with my local account. Tried setting it to use the local account, but it says it's already in use. How do I switch my login to use my previously setup local account?

So I pretty much have to make a new account if I want to use a local one then? That's stupid.
So I pretty much have to make a new account if I want to use a local one then? That's stupid.
Literally what I have been saying. Need to be able to sign in with a local account while still having a Microsoft account logged in for the apps
