Reinstalled OS and upgraded to Windows 8.1 I changed a few settings, so now when I press the Super-key, instead of the old Start screen, it shows this instead: [t]http://i.imgur.com/QHOCi0y.jpg[/t] Here's the settings: I like it.
Still can't disable start button and go back to hot corners?
There's a hot-corner for opening the same menu on bottom-left, but you have to click to open it instead of just throwing your mouse in there, and there's no option to remove the damn Start button.

That's the only thing holding me back from upgrading my desktop, it is crucial to my workflow.
It only supports up to seven cores. Wat?
R9 290/290xs are back in stock at newegg. They're $499 and $599 respectively. Only ~2 weeks ago they were $100 cheaper, jeeze this litecoin craze is wrecking everyone's builds [editline]10th December 2013[/editline] They're all sold out
Tunnel through his computer / another computer that's not restricted.
his computer is the only one which isn't restricted as far as I know. but how would I tunnel through his computer? sounds impossible without his permission
you might be able to just spoof his computer? mac address or something i'm not network specialist (obviously)
how would I go about doing that?? this is confusing, I don't know much about networking either
You can always replace it with this at first it looks silly but its practical
I wish I could find an aftermarket cooler for my card, but the only thing anyone made for the 590 was waterblocks, and afaik, they've all been discontinued.
Chrome is being stupid on my laptop, so I'm using IE11. It seems a lot more responsive when scrolling and it has smooth zoom, aww yeah.
My college's wifi appears to block G-mail from Syncing on phones. I cannot get any emails while i'm using the college internet, which means I have to disable Wifi and enable 3g just to check my emails.
so I decided to see if I could unplug the firewall, but I have no idea what is going on in that cabinet :v: [t]http://i.imgur.com/6bj2ho5.jpg[/t] no clue if this is enough for people to tell what to do, but uh, worth a shot.

I know how to remove it, but I don't want to remove it since then he'll know for sure that I've been on his computer. not sure if the BIOS is locked or not either, so how would I gain access to his computer without removing anything or changing something that I can't change back? [editline]10th December 2013[/editline] oh wow, his BIOS is unlocked so I can easily boot into a linux live CD and fetch the mac address, right? [editline]10th December 2013[/editline] I'm curious though, is this a longterm solution? can he easily notice that I'm spoofing my MAC to get through limitations?
The hardest fought quest for porn in history
do you have any idea how terrible it is to watch porn on my phone, everyday for the last decade? this shit needs to be solved, I need what is rightfully mine
do you have any idea how terrible it is to watch porn on my phone, everyday for the last decade? this shit needs to be solved, I need what is rightfully mine
I watch porn exclusively on my phone.
weirdos
I watch porn on my laptop. In a normal browsing session on chrome. Who needs incognito?
oh dear I got his mac address, time to try this. I'm trembling so badly, oh god my porn is so close [editline]10th December 2013[/editline] oh my god THE CASE HAS BEEN CRACKED, I AM FREE

Having two NICs with the same MAC will cause minor network chaos. Thus giving away what you have done.
omg, congratulations. Next stop: tblop.com !
Heads up, Only do this when his PC is not on. Having two NICs with the same MAC will cause minor network chaos. Thus giving away what you have done.
oh his PC is on during most of the day. my victory is ruined
Well, if he's not there, and his computer is just idle, it shouldn't be too big of an issue, right?
what exactly happens if two computers with the same MAC address use the internet at the same time under the same network? and now that I'm on his MAC, I can use VPNs again so could I be using a VPN without causing us to conflict?
rip PredGD's porn
worth a go. you might get some of his traffic or something or packet collisions. or it will issue you a different IP so you get away with it.
my IP is the same as always though, so don't think I was given a new IP unless that only happens when he's around too? also, if I might get some of his traffic does that mean if I browse porn while he's using his computer, porn could show up?
rip PredGD's porn
ip rip
