That's why I just got a cheapo 64GB SSD and have Windows + some other stuff installed on it. With less apps thrashing the physical drive it seems a second or two faster. Except when, y'know, my drives die, which they tend to do too damn frequently.

i'd have to reinstall all my stuff, i run a lot of heavy stuff on it, a real work horse

Just remember this, once you go Solid State, you'll never be comfortable with going back.
Just remember this, once you go Solid State, you'll never be comfortable with going back.
And unless my drives fail (they won't because it's a raid 1) i won't be getting an ssd :v:

Yeah I like it a lot. The alarms are especially useful.
I like my Sony Smartwatch for it's function but it's one of the first gen smartwatches so it looks ugly, touch is unreliable and they've neutered the software for it (they broke music controls for Google Play music entirely)

I go with the quickest route. Sometimes the quickest route is to do a win+R. Sometimes, it's to search for it. Sometimes, it's to mouse to the bottom of the screen and click an icon in a femtosecond.
Sometimes I pretend I'm a computer and it all ends as soon as I fail to remember my butt is not a USB hub

When I was 5, I used to put PS1 discs in my mouth and scrape my teeth along them because I thought it was like a record player and I would be able to play the games in my mind.

Well that explains a lot.

I would choose the SSD in a heartbeat, but then again, that's probably because I don't give a shit about clothes.
...except for this year. My shirts are too small to fit my fat self. :v:
The SSD. Duh.
Those shoes look pretty nice, though.
they look okay but at the same time i'm like i'll never wear them the rest of my wardrobe is fucking lame.

I have the exact same SSD on my new build.
A++ would buy again and raid 0.
Boot times for me on win 8.1 is <5 seconds flat.
also, gtx 770 or r9 280x?
Crossposting here because you guys know me and it's a cool story. I passed out while playing The Walking Dead: Season 2 yesterday. Video contains minor Season 2 spoilers.
Okay. Right when pausing the game I remember laying my head on my arm because I could tell I started feeling really light-headed. I don't even remember hitting the ESC key, mind you.
I must have slided off my table to the right and hit my mixer (Or my headphone cable has dragged it) because it went down with me.
I landed on my stomach (Thankfully there was nothing on the floor for me to land on and potentially break).
When I started to wake up I made a weird sound as if I'm unable to breathe. I do remember making this sound, but as far as I remember I had no trouble breathing.
So as far as I remember/can tell, I was passed out from 0:32 to 0:51
The rest of the night, I generally felt terrible. Also, the mic probably made the fall sound 10x worse than reality :v:.
Keep those things in mind when listening.

Doc Martens are crap fits, and people buying them for winter don't know how to winter shoes.
Think my sound card faces a bleak future, first that Tek Syndicate audio video that killed the idea of one and now I've decided to go to plug it in the back of my TV and do it through HDMI because I'm honestly sick of having to get on my hands and knees everytime I want to put it back in my PC.

While pretty funny, I'd go to the doctor. Random blackouts are not to be laughed upon.
So I tried to run a GTX 660 with a 250W power supply.
It gave up with a bang while playing ArmA 3. :v:

I don't think it can be called "random". It happened because I'm (aparrently) really bad at seeing painful things. It has happened before that I've felt bad when seeing painful things (When realistic and relatable) but it never went so far as this time.
Do you faint at the sight of blood?

Are you a Danish Niles Crane?
Do you faint at the sight of blood?
Nope. It's only very painful things that seem to be doing this. It has to be well made and relatable though, it's not like I faint when seeing people get shot in video games, heh.
Interestingly though, it's not like I'm grossed out by it or anything.
My body just sympathizes too much, I think.
