Holy shit everyone starts replying when I'm asleep
No offence but that setup looks like a joke
It is, I was thinking of hooking up a few more flashes, 400mm lens and my ghetto mic rig too
that flash won't work with the canon i don't think
It won't, both for the high voltage, and the fact that this camera doesn't have a PC sync port :v:
whilst I think this pertains to the top-mounted units and not cable triggered, this is probably a good time to say it'd be a smart move to invest in a cheapo wireless trigger, I've been using a cowboy studio set for years and it's still going strong, costs like $12
Cheapo is my middle name, the only thing I bought in that photo is the camera. The lens, tripod, and the flash were all my parents' old SLR stuff
Full manual lenses are niiiice for video
I guess it's finally time to switch to Firefox from Chrome.
Chrome just shits all over itself and nothing works anymore (and I've tried disabling all extensions).
When I tried Firefox everything worked just fine.
I made the switch last week. :\
Aaagghh nevermind Firefox is horrible. I downloaded Chrome Canary instead and it works just fine.
I switched to IE11 on my laptop lols
The video of you passing out kills me every time I watch it.

What is horrible?
I just fucking realised something in Win7
If you left click something on the taskbar and drag up, it's the same as right clicking
That's why it keeps popping up instead of left clicking, I thought my mouse was broken :v:

Seriously when did they add this, I've only just noticed it :v:
Now I'm going to waste the next few minutes doing that in awe.
[editline]20th December 2013[/editline]
This is like how Ctrl + Shift + Esc opens the task manager without the unneeded crap. Microsoft should point this stuff out because it's kinda useful.
How about double clicking the top left icon of (most) windows to close them?
how about sliding your mouse over an open app on taskbar and on the little popup, middle-click to close it.
Windows is like a box of old stuff you found in the basement, every time you look inside you find something awesome you never knew you had

Idle and semi-load temps mean nothing. Run P95/IBT and post temps after maybe 5-10 mins.
P95? IBT? I am no expert. What are these?
P95? IBT? I am no expert. What are these?
Prime95 and Intel Burn Test, respectively

Heh. That wasn't long.
Never doubt anyone who wants their porn.
did maximum stress test on IBT, max temp was 98c on one of the cores.
Bad? Good?

That is really fucking high. Even 20c less would be hot.
Oh wow, paper strips shoved between the keys makes typing feel so much better.

that was on maximum stress test, standard stress test was 85-87c i believe
so it's not good? program said my cpu was stable tho, IBT
Oh wow, paper strips shoved between the keys makes typing feel so much better.
That just sounds really odd, pictures?
how did you post after me
it's like a reverse automerge

IBT temps are meant to be retarded high. Those are fine if it's stable.
Roll into work today, got email diarrhea complaining about database script errors (they're warnings and completely harmless as 3 seconds of actually reading the "error" would indicate) and asking me if we can reorder the scripts (we have number prefixes on all of our scripts for a reason.)
Do some people even try sometimes?

It's really high, but if it isn't crashing or overheating on IBT, you should be safe. It might cause your processor or your fans to fail faster, though, so you should still look into improving it. Start by just making sure your airflow is good and all your fans are working (I once had a machine run for a month with a busted intake fan, didn't notice until the other intake an failed).

It does also depend on the chip. Like there are some AMD chips which fail at like 70C whereas my Q6600 has tanked 105C fine.
Jesus Christ someone else just sent me an email and without doing any research claimed that a bug that was previously mentioned in the email chain is related to a completely different task.
Fun Fridays, everyone.
