I'm 16 points away from my third Amazon gift card. Will be £3 in 3 days.
From reviews i've seen the ACX cooler is really good
From reviews i've seen the ACX cooler is really good
The ACX isn't bad, I just like the 780 ti reference cooler better, from a purely aesthetic perspective.
Been on vacation on no signal, and spotty Wifi(powered by satelite)
My camera gear and the 24-70 II should be here in about an hour.
Also merry christmas.

What a fucking trooper.
So I got my new Dell monitor (2560x1440) And it has a fucking yellow tint, it so so much worse looking than my ASUS monitors. ffuuuck.
I've already tried calibrating it, looks the same.
1) Which monitor did you get? The one I got, at least, had a guarantee of 99% color accuracy - a bad calibration would be cause to return it.
2) Have you tried installing the drivers? You wouldn't think monitors would need them, but they may need it for the color profile. I did notice a small difference when I installed mine.

Dell 27" LCD UltraSharp U2713HM, and yes I did install drivers.

That's not exactly mine (U2713H), but it's damn close.
3) You're not using the VGA port, are you? The only ports on that thing I would actually use are the DVI-D or DisplayPort connections.
4) The warranty really should cover the color being wrong by a significant amount. You can try to RMA it, or if you don't want to deal with that, try to calibrate it by eye to your other monitors.
Am I the only one who likes the coating on the u2711? :v:
Breaks it up a bit
If I don't see you guys tomorrow (or today for Australia and the like). Have a great Christmas everyone.
Same as everybody else here, have a Merry Christmas CIPWTTKT browsers and posters.
My computer related idiocy of the year: My Web Dev teacher recommending us to use W3Schools because "Its recommended by W3C".
I got the 24-70 just now. And a SLR frame grip, plus a diopter viewfinder and some shoe to 1/40-20 bolt mounts for my recorder and stuff.
So far, the lens is a bit underwhelming, but it's a rental so perhaps it got some use. Zooming is slow and manual focus lacks feel to it. My sigma's feel nicer to use.

Merry christmas!

Merry Christmas, you fucking nerds
morry kismas
"these knives man"
Probably the most useful gift I got
why do people open their presents before christmas day? :[
merry christmas everyone
and with that out of the way, shoutout to win 8.1 for being actual fucking garbage and ignoring me when i TELL IT to not install driver updates for my graphics card that conflict with... themselves... and give me a black screen at startup. at EVERY STARTUP. And my non-pro version not having group policy editor so I can't go and directly disable automatic driver updates.
actual. fucking. garbage.
why do people open their presents before christmas day? :[

why do people open their presents before christmas day? :[
so you can play with all your toys all christmas Eve night, and then all christmas day? I dunno, my family always went over to my cousins house on Christmas eve and opened some presents there, my dad would "have to go get something from the store" and when we got back home "Santa came while we were gone!"
i installed windows 8.1 and i literally have no idea how to restart my computer other than through the command prompt. thank you for this wonderful "intuitive" "desktop operating system", microsoft, it's very great and wonderful
tbh that just sounds like impatience
