Upgrade that guy to 8.1, set IE11 to always show tabs and IE is way better in metro mode. Tbh, even in 8.0, id rather use metro IE. Desktop does not work for tablets.

Is there a way that I can sync all of my Facebook contacts to my contact book on iOS, the default method only syncs contacts that have a phone number attached? There's a few apps on the App store but I don't really trust them.

I really want to get my third monitor running but its VGA only and my GPU only has one analog DVI port, which is being used by my second monitor via DVI->VGA adapter.
If i'm going to be running a DVI to HDMI adapter, there shouldn't be anything that i really need to look into right?

If your GPU can run audio through HDMI. Anything newer than a 5 series in NVIDIA will run just fine.
(If you need audio that is.)
It's a R9 290, i'll be plugging in my monitor's DVI to an adapter so i can plug it into it's HDMI port

if I recall, an active DP connector would have the word "Active" on it

DVI can actually carry audio
Yeah my monitor has speakers and they work just fine when plugged into HDMI. Your graphics card just needs to be able to provide an audio source (if it can, it'll show up under the Playback devices like so:)

Some older GPU's require a SPDIF audio pass through cable to be connected to the motherboard, and then to the GPU itself to allow audio to run through the DVI ports. My GTX 280's require them for example. Just something to be aware of, although it doesn't pertain to everyone.
I'm also guessing since he's going from DVI to HDMI that audio isn't really a concern.
Fuck, I'm a temp freak and prefer my GPUs to be under 40c idle.
With 3 monitors one of my GPUs go up to 61c idle unless I put it at 54% fan speed.
