So, ever since I switched to 8.1 from 7, I cant use the task scheduler as an alarm because when I set it to open a program and select an mp3 file it just pops up askin g what app I wanna use to open it.
Me, feeling like a hardcore hacker because I just rewatched wargames, I do some ~pro hacker shit~ and figure out its because theres spaces in the folder/file names. Fucking Microsoft. So I quick look for the first mp3 file with no spaces in the folder or filename, and do a test run.

This is achieved by having a mic pick up the sound from your speaker, and putting it out amplified. It's horrible.

When I experimented with that, I ran into the same problem. However, making a batch file which THEN instructed WMP to play the music file, worked great. I would almost say my ~pro hcker skillz~ are better than yours [img]http://i.somethingawful.com/forumsystem/emoticons/emot-hehe.gif[/img]
