I'd exclusivly buy Logitech because of my previous fantastic experience with their customer support. They've sent me free replacement speakers, keyboards, mice, joysticks. They are wonderful with their support and far and above the best customer service experiences I've had with computer components.

coincidentally I just bought a component cable for my PS2 today to play Ace Combat, it's a blurry mess on a 720p display

Except their speakers often, they sent me a replacement Z-2300 back in the day when the volume knob started having issues without sending them back. Got to love Logitech.

I had to send my (physically broken) G930, and the rep said it was because it's worth more than $50
Guess the guy I talked to didn't really care about his job then :v:

Really? I find them to be impressively sensitive, I can hear a signal even when the volume on my laptop is turned to 0.

My stepbrother seems to think that it's perfectly okay to put magnets on a computer. Today the PC I built for him on Christmas was freezing up at the BIOS splash screen, and when I went around to the side of his PC to start some trial and error with his parts I saw one of these things stuck exactly where his harddrive is:

Isn't the magnet in the shoulder ridiculously more powerful than any fridge magnet would be, so it wouldn't effect the hard drive at all?

Pretty sure if it's sitting there long enough it could cause some problems. My best guess is that it wiped enough data off of his hdd to render it useless. I tried switching out RAM, resetting the CMOS, reseating the RAM, removing the GPU, etc.
The only thing that actually worked was straight up taking the hdd out, but I can't fix whatever the problem on the hdd may be because I can't get past the BIOS splash screen.
How would a Magnet screwing up the HDD make it so the whole thing wouldn't POST? Did you try unplugging the HDD?

I don't really see how a fridge magnet on the case would cause a computer to not post. I'm not saying that you should have fridge magnets on your computer, but I doubt that's the root cause of the problem.

Yes, and it does POST.
Pull the battery on the motherboard and let it sit for a couple minutes and see if that fixes it.

My G35 headset broke, I told support and posted pictures. 1½ week later I had a brand new G35 without sending in my old one. That headset cost over 100$
