It's surprising that you'd still believe a scammer is going to help you after he has backstabbed some of his closest friends and pissed off everyone else. Go file a chargeback with your credit card company/bank ASAP. The longer you wait, the lower your chances of success will be
No idea actually. I paid from bank -> 3rd party service -> paypal, by the time this all started 45 days had passed so paypal refused to do anything, 3rd party service said do it through paypal and bank said they would do nothing and i had to take it to 3rd party service I have considered legal action but that's probably not worth the money (i paid him around 400 euro), and was wondering about collection agencies, because it seems they charge the costs to whoever owes the money, but i have no idea they work with private parties. That's why i was wondering about the thread because i'd be easier if you have a group of people
How was it barely working?
The flash was dying and it couldn't get past the language selection screen without freezing. Until it randomly booted fine and I never shut it off before I sold it. When it was working, it felt really slow in some areas.
Good luck trying to find him if he hasn't deleted everything already
Windows system restore should be avoided. If you don't know, there's actually lot's of undetected virus that get stored on system restore, and exactly after you use it you will activate it. Also lot's of programs go wrong after a system restore. Sometimes it create more problems than fix them (it really depends). If you want to be safe, when you have your windows pretty clean, have all your programs and last drivers installed, make a full image of your system. Then you can always restore the PC to the state of when you make the image. ps: there's lots of good tools to make a image of your system and restore it later too. And anyway I don't know why would you want to use system restore after changing the game files. You can just reinstall the whole game. Keep Cool
Exactly how much truth is there to this?
Good luck trying to find him if he hasn't deleted everything already
If you whois swefox.me you still get his name, adress and phone number
If you whois swefox.me you still get his name, adress and phone number
Maybe it isn't his in the first place..?
Maybe it isn't his in the first place..?
I thought that someone confirmed it was by calling the police to his house?
Maybe it isn't his in the first place..?
It was there way before this all happened and confirmed a few times, one of them being when they called the police to his house when he threatened to kill himself

I still have Swefox's real name and address, so if you need it for legal reasons, send me a PM. [editline]5th January 2014[/editline] But Goz3rr I hope you honestly learned that Paypal's protection period comes before anything, regardless of what others are telling you.
I got banned for doxing him AND he still owes me £20 :v:
I remember when one of you accidentally doxxed him by posting paypal transaction details in the thread. I wrote that shit down so fast.
So I'm going to install windows 7 I guess. My machine is basically impossible to use right now. And switching mice has made no difference. Not to mention my keyboard will simply decide to not work in certain applications either.
Someone made a game very similar to Slavehack, but it's for Android, so I might actually play it if I can't be bothered to sit in front of a desktop, or use my laptop. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.byeline.hackex&hl=en
Adblock (not plus) is what you want [editline]5th January 2014[/editline] Adblock plus sold out http://socialtimes.com/adblock-plus-takes-money-from-google-others-not-to-filter-their-ads_b131439
In all my time using ABP not once have I experienced anything other than a small text ad in the corner, and I have "allow non-intrusive ads" turned on. This combined with a bug that seems to be deleting everyone's choice of filter lists for some reason is giving ABP a really bad rep.

people who say there's not a difference between mp3 bitrates above 256k are fucking deaf, I swear.
people who say there's not a difference between mp3 bitrates above 256k are fucking deaf, I swear.
I guess I am. I can't tell much between them. Doesn't make me want to use low quality files. I stick to flac a lot.
flac or 320. other than that get the hell out, it's like someone ripped it from a 240p youtube video
Are you sure they weren't talking about AAC? Above 256Kbps it's widely considered to be "transparent". MP3 would need more since it's quite bad (due to the age, it's missing out on something like 20 years of improvements)
Anything above 256kbps is fine for me. 320kbps is good too. I don't really have the storage for flac though.
Whatever quality Google uses for Play Music sounds good to me. I'd wager it's at least 256kbps in high quality, but I never really cared enough to investigate it.
There's one song i have that if you play it in 320kbps mp3 it crackles, while using flac it works fine :v:
let me tell you the story about a file my friend has. it's like 150 kilobytes large and it's a 8kbps mp3 of Skrillex...
let me tell you the story about a file my friend has. it's like 150 kilobytes large and it's a 8kbps mp3 of Skrillex...
But does it sound any different than a high quality version?
If I had $40 to throw out, I'd buy a Skrillex Vinyl and send it to Gamma for testing Yes, they make Skrillex Vinyls, also Lady Gaga
people who say there's not a difference between mp3 bitrates above 256k are fucking deaf, I swear.
Or have bad playback equipment
flac or 320. other than that get the hell out, it's like someone ripped it from a 240p youtube video
Or just use AAC like a sane person because MP3 is a shitstain of a standard.
