Another thing that annoys me is when the OP has a detailed post explaining your problem exactly and...
Gets no reply at all.
At least it's not "nvm fixed it, lock plz"
IM GOING TO KILL WHOEVER DID THIS
someone at the office moved it around and for some reason replaced the 12V 6A power supply brick with a 9V 700mA one. magically the NAS itself boots fine but the HDDs wouldn't ;_;

Or "Answer already posted [here], closing thread" then the link doesn't work.
Or "Pm'd you the solution"
people that use Youtube Center: does anyone know why every time i load a video up on yt it plays a second then reloads the page and THEN plays the video normally?
Same problem, just got used to it
people that use Youtube Center: does anyone know why every time i load a video up on yt it plays a second then reloads the page and THEN plays the video normally?
For me sometimes it loads the video without my settings and I have to refresh it.

The worst is when there's tons of bug reports and tickets about it, all locked, with the reply "This is intended behaviour"
Fuck you shitty devs, using the wrong sorting method should not be intended behaviour

I had to disable the HTML5 player to stop that from occurring.
sonny just announced the Z1S compact on my carrier that has a Snapdragon 800 and a 20mP camera on top of being waterproof and supporting external microSD
hnnggggg must not upgrade contract early
You could use my shitty userscript that only sort of centers the videoplayer and comments and nothing else (only if you have a fullscreen browser window at 1920 pixels wide ehehe)
corsair showed off new things at ces!
here are somethings:
the 250d:

a mini-itx version of the 350d
price: 89.99$
the ax1500i:
[t]http://cdn.overclock.net/f/f0/900x900px-LL-f0fc4ac7_Corsair-AX1500i-_1.png[/t]
a 1500 watt with 80 plus titanium efficiency
price: 449.99$
anyone got an idea how to "lighten" up truecrypt? having the system drive and my HDD encrypted makes it a pain in the ass to do anything when it comes to OS's. can't upgrade windows and can't install linux.
1500 watt seems like overkill
1500 watt seems like overkill
"There is no overkill, there is only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload'"
That PSU could easily power my entire house

Razer are coming to save pc gaming again: http://www.razerzone.com/christine

If you're upgrading windows, just decrypt your hard drives, perform the upgrade, then encrypt the hard drives again. As far as Linux goes, you're probably best off trying something like LUKS.

What the hell is that "thing"?

yeah I want to dualboot my system with windows and linux. from what I've tried and read, truecrypt isn't that friendly to dualboot systems where grub is the boot manager. does LUKS support that better than truecrypt?

Oh, I'm not sure about that. Try reading into this.
Damn, Gigabyte has some pretty wacky ideas. Tiny pc with external GPU:

(Shame about the CPU in that though)
Intel CPU + 880M in a tiny box? yes please:

It's a shame gigabyte really sucks at market availability though.
I've always liked the idea of external GPUs, but unless there's a matching fast external interface for it it's a bit difficult to justify.

Isn't Thunderbolt on par with PCIe in terms of speed?
Isn't Thunderbolt on par with PCIe in terms of speed?
It's almost literally a PCIe 2.0 x4 link. Most graphics cards require at least an x8 or x16.
Oh god, refreshed youtube and now it no longer shows who uploaded the video just their avatar.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/dcxxBF6.png[/t]
It doesn't help avatars on YT are like 20x20
Youtube has been very slow for me in the past several months, even with Internet that can peak 80MB/s down (or higher)
ugh, feel that it's unnecessarily complicated to decrypt a non-system drive with truecrypt. why won't it just take my password and decrypt it on the fly like it does with my system drive?
I can't comprehend how difficult it would be to create a service that rivals YouTube, just the sheer amount of storage and bandwidth needed is insane. Data centres in every major country which are all sharing and keeping the videos available with redundancy. Google had a head start, starting this from scratch would be tricky. I guess Yahoo or Microsoft could give it a shot but it would be one hell of an investment.
I have nowhere to put 200 GBs of files. my SSD isn't even that big, how the hell am I supposed to keep my files when decrypting this?
