How is it on CPU usage (particularly when slicing shit up)? I bought the non-Pro version of Windows 8, not realizing it only enables a single socket, so my desktop's effectively a dual-core machine right now.
Got into a few slicing scenes there, and ignore the end, that's when I alt tabbed out. It's fairly unintensive, really. But shouldn't expect much from a game that runs on a single issue RISC that takes 2 cyc for a single int. [editline]10th January 2014[/editline] Reasons why you guys should buy this game: [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/451784422486962583/A9DA093C0D0B96808E999961FE42208C5DBF864C/[/t] [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/451784422487189652/A60DB473A77907927A5F443BC33302B9DA11BC5F/[/t] [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/451784422487831930/D01D634D2A972BC5537BE4992AE540B7834BB965/[/t]
I never liked games like that and never understood the appeal.
I never liked games like that and never understood the appeal.
I can understand the appeal of being sneaky and outwitting stupid enemies, it's just not for me.
MGR:Revengeance is nothing like a typical MGS game. I haven't played DMC, but I'm fairly sure the comparison works.
I can understand the appeal of being sneaky and outwitting stupid enemies, it's just not for me.
How does that have anything to do with Revengeance? It's a combat theatre game like bayonetta/DMC
ok this is weird my bios has now stopped recognizing USB devices i went to restart just now and it bitches about no keyboard detected, but boots fine, and windows sees all my devices. idk
How does that have anything to do with Revengeance? It's a combat theatre game like bayonetta/DMC
Oh. Yeah I don't like those at all, either. But I thought MGS was supposed to be about sneaking.
Not this one
It's MGR, not MGS
Oh. Yeah I don't like those at all, either. But I thought MGS was supposed to be about sneaking.
There are some forced sneak bits, but they're bullshit. Bit of frustration to get through, but once you're through, the game always gets fucking awesome again right after.

i've decided to go all out; what electronics should i buy while in japan in april?
Buy model kits instead.
and then ship them to Makol
Get me one of those 1/300 scale Space Battleship Yamato kits!
Buy me a pink jet model with one of those goofy anime people on them.
model kits are overrated
How dare you say that.
i've decided to go all out; what electronics should i buy while in japan in april?
If you go to Akihabara, tons of retrogaming stuff of course I always found it really nice how they have tons of good-condition used consoles in japan shops [t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-I54idBcLeJg/UbF04IV5EAI/AAAAAAAADMQ/9llaWMEBUjc/s1600/20130603_121147.jpg[/t] (also don't go to Super Potato it's overpriced as fuck)
Get a PC Engine/Turbografx 16. Some of the coolest games are on it.
How dare you say that.
meh i just have really shaky hands and no patience
If you go to Akihabara, tons of retrogaming stuff of course I always found it really nice how they have tons of good-condition used consoles in japan shops [t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-I54idBcLeJg/UbF04IV5EAI/AAAAAAAADMQ/9llaWMEBUjc/s1600/20130603_121147.jpg[/t] (also don't go to Super Potato it's overpriced as fuck)
definitely gonna dedicate at least a day to akihabara, no doubt

Get emulators for all the platforms that were ever made, and then blow all your saved money on Japanese hookers.
i'm a game collector so i'll buy a lot of them
Are those the N64s with the CD-Rom bit in the bottom?
the boxes are neogeoCDs (wtf were you doing SNK) and the ones farther on the same level as the dreamcasts look more like 3DOs. else, I dunno what you mean
I wonder how different gaming would be if XBAND hadn't died, and online gaming became the norm for all forms of gaming in 1994. XBAND died in 1997 due to lack of sales (and they provided free long-distance calling to users for their games, so you could just record the tones of the XBAND modem dialing your friend, then later dial in again, put in the access code through the dial pad and call your buddy for free).
Devs of surgeon simulator were handing out keys in the chat for the AGDQ stream, and Firefox decided to stop responding. The 8 codes I was able to copy were taken anyways. :(
Does anyone else have a problem with chrome not displaying pages if you press the back button? It won't display the page unless I open it again in a new tab.
IE11 4lyfe, it doesn't even re-render pages when you go back, makes it really quick.
Chrome doesn't display anything if I open a news link through steam, unless the browser is already open. It would just open a blank tab and all my plugins and addons would pop up a notification saying they've crashed. It doesn't do anything until I close it and re open it.
