I could legally drink since I was born (my mom and dad would probably have gotten in trouble, though). It became legal to sell alcohol to me 2.3 years ago, and as of 4 months ago I can go to a bar and buy a drink or whatever.
America is weird.
I am legally allowed to by alcohol for 4 years now. But I never really drink alcohol.
Edit:

it's quite nice though, if you have an installation running (which i do) it actually waits to restart until it's done
Nothing wrong with Symantec, especially not on a big corporate network where nobody knows what they're doing and downloads adware all the time
I was trying to throw together a spare computer out of a friends' parts and mine, installed everything into a vostro 200 case (mATX, no standoffs just raised domes)
It won't boot, it just turns on for a second and reboots infinitely. Tried 2 different power supplies, one of which just came out of a working rig.
Did i short the board on this fucking case?
try swapping places on the 6-pin power connectors to the gpu if there are such
try swapping places on the 6-pin power connectors to the gpu if there are such
It's barebones as fuck. i3-2120, 2GB DDR3 (temporary), ODD and HDD. The board's still on warranty fortunately
edit: haven't tried breadboxing yet, probably should.
I just went to the store and played with the Nexus 5 a bit. I recorded a video clip and uploaded it to my FTP server so I could see how it looked without youtube rape :science:
Is Avast any good, I installed it and I'm already getting turned off by the amount of spam is has

Not even 2 minutes installed and it's trying to advertise their paid VPN service
no
uninstall it and get microsoft security essentials
I literally just uninstalled that to try out Avast, because apparently MSE's detection rates are terrible
iirc avg is the better one at the moment
I am getting almost no ads from avast.
Well at least it doesn't drop you out of a programm or game.
avg is to rescource heavy.
Basically, all AVs suck
NOD32 master race.
Kaspersky?
Disregard AV's, Install GNU/Linux.
/jk
I've been using Avast for a while now, and even tough it posts the occasional Ad at the bottom right, it's still one of the best free AV's you can get for Windows.
* It has great detection rates
* Does not consume a shitload of resources
* Does not fuck with your games
* Does not force you to restart in X minutes
* Actually has a pleasant user Interface.
Is there a big differnce between the free Avast and the premium one?
It costs money

I can go get shot overseas, I can buy a gun, I can drive a 2 ton death machine, but GOD FORBID A DROP OF ALCOHOL TOUCHES MY VIRGIN LIPS
Is there a big differnce between the free Avast and the premium one?
Premium includes their sandbox environment and firewall
Just don't use Norton. The amount of viruses and adware on my grandfather's computer can attest to that.
So I want to try that new keyboard layout on my phone first.
Which one? Colemak or Dvorak?
Just pick one?
Dvorak

Nothing really wrong with QWERTY is there? I would just keep it consistent with whatever you have on your PC keyboard.
http://www.av-test.org/en/tests/home-user/windows-8/janfeb-2013/
apparently bitdefender is the best
Depends on what you sort by.
In score, Avast Free 7 is the best.
[editline]13th January 2014[/editline]
And in protection, F-secure is the best.

I wanted to like try different layouts on my phone, it's going to be slow learning it and such but it's worth a try. I'm already pretty good with qwerty.
