Because everyone gets bored of you having a bitchfit at totally trivial stuff
but why would people do that? why would anyone care? i just don't get it
It gets annoying.
i guess i need to read more on social stuff then
There's nothing to look up. It's as simple as "say something stupid and baseless and people will call you out on it."
Nothing I've ever thought about.
What. Since November i've been having connection problems with the internet just refusing to work for a couple of seconds every 30 minutes or so. It happens on my phone, my tablet and my laptop. Apparently it doesn't happen to anyone else in the house.
Posted on the Virgin Media support forum, now to wait for a Virgin media support agent to read and reply.
It's getting ridiculously annoying to browse the internet lately.
On my way to a job interview for an extremely nice tech support job

Just don't act on it.
Got home from interview, its 12 degrees out, my dad is outside shovelling snow with his shirt off. I love South Dakota.
That was quick.
My interview was like 90minutes.

How they do interviews is less "tell me about yourself" and more "let me show you around the company and see how you react", and that was quick since I had job shadowed them at their old locarion, and had the same interview last year.
Does your state not have an E-Waste program?
I imagine our state is one of the more forward thinking ones. Hell, the whole state of Montana doesn't even have a regular recycling program.
So EU law means I have 2 years minimum on an electrical product if its faulty? Does this mean I can get Acer to repair my laptop due to its broken keyboard thats already been sent in to be repaired once already?

2 years minimum, more if it's a "luxury good which can be assumed to last much longer than the warranty period", or something like that, if I remember correctly.
Well I got the Laptop in June 2012, sent it for repair January 2013 and last week they said my warranty has expired and i'd have to pay £60 just to have them look at it. Sent them an email about the EU Law now to wait for a response.
EU Directive 1999/44/EC states that all European Union member states must allow consumers to make a claim for faulty or misdescribed goods under their consumer rights for a minimum of two years. English law already allows you to make a claim for up to six years from the date you bought the goods
So I actually have 6 years?
You should be contacting the retailer not acer, unless you actually bought it directly from them ofc.
Well it was a £600 laptop, i'd expect it to last at least 5 years like my laptop before it.

I did something very stupid today and bought an Asus Transformer Book T100 on a Best Buy credit card I just signed up for. As soon as I can afford to I'm going to pay it back in full and close the card. On the positive side I do have a T100 now that I can fully review and test the performance on.
