A cheap eBay $50 SSD that you could use as a cache drive later in a better computer? Sure, why not
Building a new computer soon anyway? Might be worth just getting an SSD to migrate
Otherwise not really unless you don't plan to migrate it to another computer later

It's a console port, which means they don't really expect you to exit it. Pressing B in the main menu exits, IIRC.
It's a Metal Gear game, you talk to the female character on Codec to save (does that mean you've never played any MG games? because you should)
Also it autosaves every five minutes or something. Which is good because Courtney is sickeningly talkative for a save codec frequency in a metal gear game, seriously she just drags on and on

Mods help fix this.
That's partially why it's so addicting to me. Skyrim has so much potential but needs 200+ mods to make it work like I think it should.

I've been using that mac style chrome font rendering for over a year. I turned it off the other day and holy shit my eyes hurt from the font being so thin.

It's checkpoint save only. It's a bit annoying but if anything you wont lose much.

Yeah giving such a short game a free weekend is a really weird decision
It took me 20 hours to get 100% completion, and the actual story can be rushed in <10 hours easily

It works great, but FPS performance is the only drawback and skyrim doesn't properly use SLI.
Whats a good cheap external HDD? I need one to back up all my stuff on this laptop if Acer decides they will repair it. Preferably on Amazon as I have a £10 gift certificate to use, less than £40-50 if possible.

Wait, there's a Codec in this game? Never used it, since whenever anybody had any info-dumps to do they just called me, and I didn't even have to do anything to answer.
Also, I did play the first Metal Gear Solid, but that's obviously been a while. I didn't even remember that you needed to use Codec to save until you mentioned that.
