Replaced my brother's Athlon II X2 240 with a Phenom X4 9550. When i picked up his PC after turning it off, the bottom of the case was hot to the touch.
When I opened it, the air was HOT, over 100F i'd imagine. Too hot for it to just need a dusting and new paste. Even the hard drive was very hot to the touch.
Turns out his only case fan seized, a 120MM exhaust, leaving his poor 8800GTS to cook the case.

Not worth it. Apparently the issue is that it needs to be run as admin, which is a big mistake to begin with. But playing the same section three times in the space of three days is just too fucking much, especially when I have no lack of other games to play.
Might try to find a save editor to get me back to where I was, plus a few thousand BP for my pain.
good luck with that, only mod I've seen working is Durante's res fix and they refuse to release that, plus a few texmod things some chinamen did.

Fuck, apparently there's two ways to clean my GPU's heatsink
1. Remove fan shroud and compressed air (Don't have compressed air)
2. Remove entire heatsink, brush out (Don't have thermal paste)
The closest we have to an air compressor would be a little 12v tyre pump, I doubt that'd work :v:

I use my hand tire pump to clean out heatsinks every now and then
i mean, it works with a swift whack for light dust accumulation

I managed to get it working off a computer PSU, it's slightly more powerful than a fishtank pump :v:
A hand pump may work, but I'm not sure how well it'd work for this heatsink

The bottom (Side that's visible) is flat against the card, and the other side is solid metal. You'd have to blow in one end and out the other
I currently have a Galaxy Ace (S5830) and a newer Galaxy Ace (S5830i). I broke the screen on mine and dad broke the screen on his. We replaced them, but the digitizer on the S5830 =/= S5830i so the other one is fucked. Doesn't really matter to me, I can use the old one and dad bought an S II, because well, he needs a working phone at all times.
Oh well, Now I have the S5830i just charging the battery, as mine is pretty worn and browsing web at school for like 6 hours takes it down + cold.

Get one of those cheap Harbour Freight compressors that are $100. Totally worth it for blowing out dust in shit.
