That context-menu crash buggy thing was really annoying. like, today I managed to crash my PC atleast 4 times with it, soo.
oh right, no need to search for the W7 disc, it was on my desk. Fuck it, 4 times in a day? nope, no can do. GOODBYE w7 from 2013, Hello W7 from 2014!
Well to date I've flashed all my phones with Cyanogenmod anyway so I don't use Touchwiz anyway and even if I did initially I never really noticed it getting in the way.
on the contrary, don't listen to forum poster advice and just pick a phone you like. the current flagships are the nexus 5, moto x, LG G2, HTC One and GS4. try them out in store and pick the one you like most.
So my Corsair AX850 PSU was broken and I sent it in, then because they no longer sell the AX850, I got the AX860 which not only is better, but also cheaper so I also got $20 in cash back :D win.

I just go through reviews, see if its got the features I would like and check to see if the phone isn't going to be replaced with a new model in a few months.

well, that's sort of less valid now - every phone is good in their own regards, nowadays it really boils down to if you like how it feels in the hand and if you like the flavor of software installed/if you're okay with it's developer efforts. I use CM11 on my Note 2 and it's the perfect blend of hardware and software, but with phones like the moto x which are almost entirely stock by default except for some actually not shitty features, you probably won't care to flash a ROM.
I upgraded to a Note 2 last May fully knowing that a Note 3 was a few months down the line, simply because even though a new version was right around the corner, what was already on the market was basically arguably good enough for the few years I will be locked into using it.

I want that bootlogo.
Got my first laptop, Zenbook Prime (UX31A, old gen cpu). It's fucking awesome! :v:
I was going for something cheaper but I got to test this at a store and it was instant love.
The screen is awesome (1080p matte IPS) and the keyboard feels great to type on after getting used to.
Only thing I don't really like is the touchpad having some weird gestures I always accidentally make.
I've been using a Galaxy S2 Skyrocket since launch in 2011, will be getting an S5 most likely when it comes out. Hopefully will be as durable if not more than my S2 (not a single scratch in 3 years), but have longer battery life and look prettier.
Its super bad but I'm still using Gingerbread because I'm too lazy to back up shit and flash something else. I honestly don't mind Touchwiz, its easy for me to use and doesn't look all that bad. I also have well organized and themed pages for apps. When I get my S5 I'll probably keep it light until its compatible with CM or something and at least try that out first.
People who just go ~~~~~~omggggggg touchwizzz isss soooooo bbaaaaaaaaad look at these completely subjective comparison screens to see why its so bad, its not like you cant flash anything else right?~~~~ are idiots

You can disable those.
nexus phones get several updates from google when new versions come, and even if they didn't nexus phones have a HUGE development community which means people will make roms of new versions either way, even way after google gives up. the nexus s has kitkat, as an example. that means your phone will get all the new updates, and won't be forgotten, like happens with normal phones. samsung, lg, motorola, sony etc all have to make the updates themselves, and they either don't or they just update a single time.
and galaxy s phones have the ABSOLUTELY HORRID touchwiz ui. it's fucking terribly ugly, full of bloat and useless shit. in the other hand, vanilla android keeps getting sexier and sexier.
compare these:
[t]http://fs01.androidpit.info/userfiles/3971960/image/GalaxyS4/touchwiz-android-quick-settings.jpg[/t]
[t]http://cdn.androidpolice.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/nexusae0_UI2.png[/t][t]http://phandroid.s3.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/nova-launcher-beta.png[/t]
[t]http://fs01.androidpit.info/userfiles/3971960/image/GalaxyS4/touchwiz-android-recently-opened-apps.jpg[/t]
(really, samsung? buttons for a ~task manager~ (to clean up ram lol! XD) and another to remove all apps (also to clean up ram lol!!!!! XD)?)
[t]http://fs02.androidpit.info/userfiles/3971960/image/GalaxyS4/touchwiz-stock-settings.jpg[/t]
(really, samsung? you're still using fucking gingerbread-style tabs? seriously?)
and that's just the looks - the whole user experience is shitty too.
tl;dr do yourself a favor and buy a nexus 5

Where's my MicroSD card slot? Nowhere to be found in the current Nexus line. If the camera is important to anyone, that's something to consider.

So GAME had X-Plane 10 for £30, and considering it's normally like $60 + shipping I decided to pounce on it.
Thought it seemed a little heavy, so opened it and then HOLY DVD's BATMAN

Whose idea was it to not ship 75gb of scenery on a fucking USB drive or two, this is obscene

Yeah, I know. Sometimes I find them useful, though.
I guess I'll have to disable the trackpad at times or something.

You don't have to install them all. You only need to install the content that you want. If you want only North America, only install North America. It's very good like that.

I could probably melt down the plastic from all these and make a model 747 with a full interior
Really love the IPS screen. It was the first thing I was looking from a laptop. Also the resolution, I couldn't stand 1366x768.
I could probably melt down the plastic from all these and make a model 747 with a full interior
If DVD1 wasn't required to launch due to the copy protection unless you buy a $30 USB dongle I absolutely would

Throw in a spare, blank DVD instead. It's still valid.

I really want X-Plane. FS 2004 is good and all, and still has a decent add-on community. But its 10 years old. And it definitely feels and looks 10 years old.

X-Plane probably isn't really the way to go then. It's visuals are very lacking, it's functional realism not visual realism. It's extremely detailed but that's in the sense you have a basic copy of every building in where it should be, really it looks no better than FS 2004.

I've grown to like them, actually. But get used to friends accidentally activating them when using your computer, lols.
I know that the first 8 digits of a credit card number signify the card provider and routing number of the bank, but I am surprised that Google can pull down a near image of my card complete with bank logo and everything. It even knows my card is a debit card. Damn, Googs.

It's not a flashable zip, so don't try :v:
Get a boot animation manager and apply the .zip through that
It should just scale the images down, worse case scenario, it'll just be blank or stay on the device logo until android loads
