Installed it and it just filled the screen. Looks great. Thanks man.
You can disable those.

Can you disable the touchpad on the buttons? Gave it to my dad because it was so annoying, bought a simple one instead
I made a 720p version too, which is somehow bigger than the 1080p version
Fucking compression :v:

No but I don't see why you'd want that

Resolution has nothing to do with file size, bitrate is what controls that.
Depends on the motherboard and the OS. If your motherboard supports headless mode and you run some kind of OS that is manageable without one (Ex. Linux, BSD, etc) then it should work. Most non-server grade motherboards refuse to do this though, and just returns an error if you try (Beeping, unable to POST, etc).
Nailed it. Right now it's running and all setup without GPU:

Only concern is how long this hard drive will survive yet, it's a Seagate drive which I pulled out of my external hard drive casing. Long while ago it failed starting so I have my doubts.

In this case it's "What JPEG compression level it's on"
I converted the 1080p versions down to 720p at 100% quality, where Vegas exported some compressed one :v:
After using a laptop without f.lux and then reinstalling flux on my pc. Oh god, everything is so piss-yellow!
If I would disable Flux I would burn my eyes.
Can't even realize when the transition kicks in. I only notice it when I'm going downstairs while sunset it about to kick in and come back being greeted by 2 ''piss-yellow'' monitors.
X-Plane probably isn't really the way to go then. It's visuals are very lacking, it's functional realism not visual realism. It's extremely detailed but that's in the sense you have a basic copy of every building in where it should be, really it looks no better than FS 2004.
I'd have a hard time believing that it doesn't look any better than 2004, considering you can max out 2004 on a potato nowadays. But from some screenshots I do see where your coming from though.
I don't mind functional realism. From what I've seen, there is definitely a learning curve. Maybe if I see it on sale, I'll check it out.

Fun fact: The .gif on the plymouth page was what I used for the tablet version I made ages ago
For this one, I remade it in 1080p with an .svg version
So GAME had X-Plane 10 for £30, and considering it's normally like $60 + shipping I decided to pounce on it.

Minecraft has a nice thing for me when i exit the game and it's been in fullscreen. f.lux just vanishes for a second. Real burning eyes feel
Also played Motherload for like 4 hrs last night and today. Killed Natas with C4. Serves him right
Doing some more NAS load testing. Two computers are copying files right now, temperatures rise between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius when at a load of 7-10%
Is that a bit worrying? I slapped a CPU cooler of my AMD A10-6800K on. CPU Is a AMD Phenom II X6 CPU, and I haven't even used a case. Just put the motherboard on a ESD proof bag on the subwoofer in the living room (haven't got a case yet)

the person who was supposed to rewrite the email just forwarded it from that account
alright makol
so basically i have:
1. a big pc
2. a surface pro
3. an ipad
my surface seems to overlap with both the pc and the ipad: it can run all the apps i use, and it is a tablet.
except since i have a big pc, i'd rather use that because it's more powerful
and since i have an ipad, i'd rather use that, because it's lighter and has better battery life
so what the hell do i do with my surface
the person who was supposed to rewrite the email just forwarded it from that account
That just normal illiteracy/laziness not computer illiteracy though.
also how the fuck do i use multiple computers and keep shit in sync

Man, I hate that problem. I have a Dell GX270 on the floor next to my desk acting as an endtable. Nothing wrong with it, hell it has a 160 GB HDD and 3.5 GB of DDR. I just have no use for it. :v:

Oh come on.
So I'm trying to help a coworker set up Git on his windows machine, and we're encountering errors.
Googling managed to bring me to my posts from a month or so ago about Git problems in this very thread.
Unfortunately, he's having a different error.
so i found out that my 840 pro SSD now supports Samsung RAPID utility (it used to be exclusive to their 1tb SSD's or something like that)

I, well, uh
okay
Okay, I'm currently trying to unravel the mysteries of manual subnetting (I.E, without a subnet calculator), so I made a thing.
[T]http://i.imgur.com/A0SofR3.png[/T]
Have I done it right?
I'll eventually also post another image later, in which I explain how I think with this, to make sure whether or not my mathematical/binary thinking is correct.
But if my results in the above image are all correct, it should be.

This is basically useless unless you're going to be transferring files between SSDs
