Reminds me that my 18th is probably gonna be the most boring in existence. Which is just how I like it.
Reminds me that my 18th is probably gonna be the most boring in existence. Which is just how I like it.
I can't even remember my 18th.
We just played GTA and went to the movies...
Same here, don't really do much apart from going out for a meal. I just spend it usually playing with all the stuff I got. Annoyingly though this year my Birthday falls on the last day of term and it means its a first for me because I will be having a day doing stuff instead of getting lucky that I've had the day off ever since I started education. I am not pleased.
Got into a certain Beta, don't think I should say what one because another user said they got into it and snipped it but I'm sure you can figure it out.
Bad Rats 2
Reminds me that my 18th is probably gonna be the most boring in existence. Which is just how I like it.
I got pretty drunk at my folk's house for my 21st. It was the same day as my sister's high school graduation so we had a bunch of family and friends over. That was a good time.
Do you think it's worth me getting an NH-L9i over just sticking with the normal Intel cooler?
Do you think it's worth me getting an NH-L9i over just sticking with the normal Intel cooler?
Depends what your use case is. You can get coolers which will push more heat a lower temp. Where the L9i really excels is lowish power usage, small, silent solutions. Like for like, it only just beats the Intel tempwise, but the thing makes no noise at medium-low usage. However, if you can fit it, a TX3 evo will be almost as quiet, (even quieter in high use cases) and even quieter if you stick a noctua fan on it, and probably cheaper too. Source: I own a L9i, Stock Cooler, and TX3 Evo.
It'll be being used in a Node 304, I thought it'd be cool for not getting in the way of the cables; moreso than the stock.
Ah then yes its certainly a big improvement over stock. My mate with a Node 304 has a Big Shuriken 2 Rev. B in his and it performs really well, both thermally and noisewise. But the L9i is amazing noisewise, esp when just browsing etc (you can put your ear to it and you literally can't hear it, but you can see it spinning and feel the air, its weird), and you get the 7 year awesome warranty so it'l probably outlast your rig.
My IGP is getting too hot so i made something. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5831868/P1090103.JPG[/t]

My Tor Relay's gotten to the "this relay's new, but it sort of looks stable" point in the lifetime of a Tor relay, and traffic's picking up. I'm not even at the "hey, this relay's cool" point in the lifecycle of a relay.
You have to be 21 to buy alcohol. Some states allow underage drinking with parental consent in their own home though. Otherwise, your drivers license will be suspended if you're caught underage (regardless if it was related to driving or not). At least that's how it works in South Dakota. Adults giving alcohol to underage persons is actually a pretty serious offense. [editline]23rd January 2014[/editline] In South Dakota, you can get a learners permit at 14. I had a full license with no restrictions by 16, but technically could have gotten it after six months of holding the learner permit.
I got my drivers liscense at 15, I was too lazy to get it at 14. Still good to have the option. Woo sd. And as for alcohol, one of my best friends is 21 so Im set there. Its figuratively impossible to get caught if its just 3 or 4 people getting smashed in a friends basement.
my liver gon' be pissed tonight

i just had the best idea ever: microphone stands that screw into the vesa mount on a monitor
you have no idea how hard and long this took to make on my laptop, i fully understand what you mean but this is the first thing that popped into my mind
i just had the best idea ever: microphone stands that screw into the vesa mount on a monitor
not very helpful when your monitor stand covers the vesa mount (you have to remove the stand to access it obv)
