Also, rip 2005 Mac Mini.
It died peacefully after playing Diablo 2 for a little over a hour.

I would just buy a USB battery charge solution that's portable. Something like this.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12000mAh-External-Power-Bank-Backup-Battery-Charger-For-iPad-mini-iPhone-5-HTC-/221223844894?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3381f7fc1e
obviously higher quality then this.
the point of the car charger is you don't have to deal with charging something else
Yeah I use navigation on my phone when driving, the car charger I have now plugs straight from the 12V socket into my phone, all one unit. However it barely maintains the charge as the phone uses up as much power as the charger that is supplying it. I'm going to buy a 5V 1A car charger which should give me more charging power. It's mainly the USB cable I'm having trouble with, can't find a single one where someone hasn't said "didn't work/didn't charge/no data transfer/slow charge/loose connection".
Also I need 2, 1 for my car and one to transfer data between phone and PC. Guess if I want one that's decent I need to pay Samsung £10 for one...
[editline]25th January 2014[/editline]
God this is getting ridiculous, going through reviews of USB cables on Ebay and Amazon, a lot getting delivered faulty/broken. Takes a lot of skill to fuck up a simple cable.
[editline]25th January 2014[/editline]
Well I just got these, If they're crap it doesn't really matter because they don't cost much.

My official Galaxy Note dock's charger is enough to charge and use at full brightness. So it probably matches the 1,5A of the desktop charger.
Got bored, made a nifty thing

It's a USB passthrough that has a 5v socket on the side, you connect the socket to a wall adapter and it gets power from the socket instead of the USB port
So you can use the data cable on your tablet and charge at the same time, since most tablets won't charge off standard USB amperage

My asus T100 uses micro usb for charging, the power adapter for that is crazy. When i charge my lumia 925 with it goes from 50 to 100% in 15 minutes.
My Nexus 7 (2012) takes forever to charge if I'm using it, really should buy a 2A charger or something.

My Note 8 takes 6 hours to charge from 20% to 100%. But it's fine to me.

Wouldn't that ruin the life of the battery?

I use my S4 charger and my phone and 2012 Nexus 7 take like an hour. Usually less.

Why should that ruin the battery life?
With that charger it takes about 6 hours for the t100 to be fully charged.
thats actually really neat and i could see it becoming a thing
go sell the idea
This is not a new invention. At all. Just that most of them don't use the shitty ring cables.

No no I mean using it with the Lumia.
No no I mean using it with the Lumia.
Yeah why would it ruin the lumias battery life?
It has 2000mha and its a windows phone which doesn't waste energy like your android, iphone etc.
I can go 2 days without charging with using a lot of email, twitter, youtube, whatsapp etc
ive never really seen one of those
It's usually entire USB hubs with a separate power supply.

I don't think it does. If the battery can't handle that fast charging it would try to stop charging or slow it down.
Bought a TPMS. It uses a special wrench to open the sensors battery compartment. You need to do that to activate them first time. The wrench is missing/ not included. (There is a small open area under the included counterweights, so either it's been stolen from there or it isnt included at all.
I just found out the Toshiba U920T I used to own got discontinued officially from Toshiba.
Get a regulated 5V source and feed that phone 5A of juice.
No matter what I do, no matter what PC or image or flash drive I use, not once did I ever get Chrome OS to boot. Fuck.

It's the same with me for Windows. I can't get it to install off anything other than a DVD.
Which is gonna be an issue for me when I get my new rig, since the case can't fit a disk drive.

ye. Just use YUMI and an official ISO and anything (except CentOS because it decides to be an ass) will usually work in a few clicks.
YUMI is the bomb and my twin flash drives with YUMI + boot repair disk + windows installations (7 and 8) + linux distributions have saved me more than once
really impressed with psp emulation, the ps2 must have had really retarded hardware since emulating it is still so hard in 2014
I thought you could install it off a flash drive by copying the ISO's contents.
possibly an upgrade but to boot from a usb drive i think you need a bootloader of some sort so i personally always use yumi / rufus
I don't know about Windows before Win7, but I can boot from USB just fine, I've reinstalled windows multiple times with a USB boot disk, and I've got a couple Linux live cd USB boot disks laying around too.
Say I have 55 .wav files, and I want to replace them all with the same other .wav file I have elsewhere. How can I do it easily without messing with the file names?
I just cleaned my keyboard after not doing it for like 6 years. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen, I'm not even sure if I should post pics. I'm ashamed of myself for not doing this more often.
