So I'll be external Monday, Thursday and 1 hour every Friday for the next 3~ months. Boss is telling me to come in before and after the 1 hour assignments. ...

MSE isn't shit though, just stick with that and common sense.
MSE isn't shit though, just stick with that and common sense.
I thought it scored pretty bad on tests.
I thought it scored pretty bad on tests.
Bad is relative: Not downloading "cat_photos.exe" and using MSE as a fallback works in 99% of situations.
I thought it scored pretty bad on tests.
Some biased tests performed by one of the competing AV vendors.
MSE isn't the best, but it's easily good enough as long as you're not deliberately trying to get infected.

The computer encountered a problem alright.

Pretty good, I'd say. I might drop the CPU to an i5 or non-hyper threaded Xeon and bump up the GPU, depending on what you plan on using it for, of course.
My school blocks steam and torrents. That's all as far as I've discovered.
How's this for a £800 budget?
Why would you waste money on a Xeon CPU for a consumer single CPU build?
[editline]27th January 2014[/editline]
Go for a desktop i5 or i7 instead, they're generally cheaper anyways for the same equivalent CPUs.

Friggin Rogers and their blocky 1080p Internet video stream
[t]http://i.imgur.com/w5dkN8S.png[/t]
A thing called Fullscreen came and wanted to become youtube partners with me, due to one of my videos that went viral.
I said I was in doubt, and asked about the specifics of the program. I did my research and they appear to be legit and all.
Then I got an email saying that I can go to a link to review and sign an e-agreement.
Upon going to that link, it showed this:
[thumb]http://puu.sh/6AEMI[/thumb]
And it appears that by just clicking that bit.ly link, I'd signed and agreed to an agreement that was NEVER shown to me in any way, contradicting what the email said.
So, now they have the rights to one of my videos without my consent.
[thumb]http://puu.sh/6AIsr[/thumb]
How is this legal? Does anyone have prior experience with this because I'm terribly confused at how they just somehow grabbed the rights for my YouTube video without me doing anything to accept it.
you can probably email them and say foreign national
as they're giving you a w9, when a foreign national should be filling out a w8
unless they have offices in norway it'll probably be too much for them to deal with and you'll hopefully be able to get rid of them
Alright.
Turns out this might be an elaborate scam.
The real website is named www.fullscreen.net
The website these guys directed me to (through bit.ly) is called www.fullscreenvirals.com
In the original message I got through YouTube, the sender said he represented www.Fullscreen.net, which may have been a flat out lie.
I've not signed any form of agreement, and yet youtube has given them the rights to my video. This is highly weird, and I will be contacting YouTube about it.
[editline]28th January 2014[/editline]
I have no clue what this w9 or w8 is, and they've not "given" me any of that.
This is highly weird, and I will be contacting YouTube about it.
Yeah I don't think you're ever getting the rights to your video back
[editline]27th January 2014[/editline]
Considering multiple indie developers lost the rights to their official trailers because of various bullshit reasons

If this fails then all my faith in YouTube will be lost.
[editline]28th January 2014[/editline]
Meanwhile, I'll back up my entire YouTube channel.

They definitely always favor the claimant though. As soon as somebody makes a claim on your video, all ad revenue immediately starts flowing to them. You can make a counter-claim, but they then have 30 days to respond to your counter (the whole time collecting revenue from the video).
[editline]27th January 2014[/editline]
Honestly with how little of a public face Google even has, I'd be surprised if anybody actually read your counter-claim.

Oh trust me, I know how it works and know the entire way to fix it. Hold the fucking money in escrow for that 30 day period. But they don't always necessarily claim money, they have a bunch of options. They can block, monetize or just track. The CMS is pretty awesome shit, to be honest, it's just SO FUCKING ABUSED.
Honestly with how little of a public face Google even has, I'd be surprised if anybody actually read your counter-claim.
Thing is, It's not just Google that reads it. It's the claimant. They get to decide what happens for the first claim. Then if it gets denied, you move up to second level where shit actually gets a lot more serious (With actual reprocussions against your channel, video, etc). A lot of MCNs appear to automate the first level to automatically deny (Fox is one that does that) but every single second level is 100% read by both Google and the MCN.
