i really gotta get new headphones, the cord isn't even a meter long and the left speaker crackles sometimes
I'd rather have packet loss rather then unstable ping spikes and time out errors.
Stable connection without packet loss but 300-500 ping, or
Unstable connection, slight packet loss and 50ms ping, but a chance of the router crashing any moment.
That's what I hope. Its not outright declining the SSH connection, so I guess its not completely dead yet.
Apparently 11 hours later, its still broken. I managed to ssh into the server (after 10 minutes). Tried to get into the router config page through lynx, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back. Poof, it disappeared off the internet. :v:

Trying to connect to a printer through a router is like trying to cross the world's most dangerous border.

Printers in general are a nightmare, mine just straight up refuses to do network scanning, it just spits out some random vague error that can mean anything from "You didn't configure the folders properly" to "The time and date are wrong"

I remember getting CUPS set up on an Arch server. Got it working in XP, 7, 8, OSX and Linux. Except for my mom's Win7 laptop where the printer apparently didn't exist. Dragging my face across a carpeted floor was more pleasurable then trying to get that to work.

For us, our printers work properly and don't throw a fit as long as it is fed with paper and ink but our network calls for two routers because we tried to replace the old router. I shortly found out that the new router that my dad bought is one of the most simplistic and buggy as hell Smart Wi-Fi ones, so my computer was unable to serve over the internet like it should and giving every device on our network a logical IP address was out of the question. So I simply set the new router to connect through the old via wired and just have the new one serve for everyone else while the old one is served just for me so I can continue my antics.
So you can see the problem here that if I try to print under the legacy router, I can't unless I switch networks to do so and what I'm trying to do is fruitlessly fix this because the damn new router locked up again.

Otherwords this happens on the new router.
I didn't even want to join it though.
I sent an email to them asking about more detail about how it worked because I was in doubt.
Evenaually they sent me a message with a link to a supposed agreement that I could read. However, clicking that link instantly signed me up and I never got to read the agreement.
Send me the link in a PM.

Now you can run a command line script every time you want to make pierogies
Aside from Route To Hitler, our ISP is able to always give us the same IP to my computer no matter if the computer goes around networks, router resets, and everything else as long as it connects to the legacy router and given it's IP 192.168.1.5.
Hello 75.100.157.220. Welcome back.
Tis my birthday today.
Got myself a pebble watch, it really is useful.
Going out for an all-you-can-eat Chinese with 14 of my flatmates. Gonna be feeling fat after.

Add that to the stove and various other cooking appliances and then get some automated helies with cooking utensils and watch as [del]the human race is enslaved by cookware and appliances[/del] bakery goods are created.

An R10K in an O2 was one of the slowest things you could buy. I wonder what the performance is with say eight 250mhz R10k's in 64-bit mode.
How the fuck
300ms is my "This is unplayable" level
I played TF2 once with 1200ms lag. Turned out I had just left uTorrent running (I'm not even lying when I say it was Linux distros), which really trashed my latency for some reason.
How the fuck

I've managed 500 ms, but it wasn't a fast paced game. It was really weird having to predict the future.
If it was HL2DM the borderland of "god no please" level is about 500MS.
CSS and fast paced shooters it's around just under 100. Anything above you're just jittering in CSGO or you're missing with snipers.
I remember being kicked from HL2DM servers for a +300 ping.
can someone tell me what's up with firefox

crap it does it when I type at random too
man those times, i played hl2dm on coop maps with 300 ping for 3 years..
Hey does anyone know of a trustworthy place/person that sells original Sony batteries and ships worldwide? My camcorder's NP-FH40 died a silent death apparently, and I don't feel like buying some shitty chinese bootleg battery.
Good times.
Now it's a dead cause of orange box.
i actually found a couple of servers with coop maps not too long ago
and they still had 300 ping
Ping kickers are dumb and always have been. They offer no benefit and they actually make negative value for the server since you'd lose traffic.
I like ping kickers when they're configured properly.
The problem is nobody configures them properly - they have it set to immediately kick once you go anywhere above something like 185 (which was my average ping to the East coast back when I had DSL and I still played fine).

I've been using Google, but it doesn't seem that the OEM batteries are made anymore. Pretty much your only options are going 3rd party, or buying used off somebody (which will probably be just as sketchy as you have no idea how its been treated or how old it is).
I guess my only advice is don't buy the cheapest pack you can find.
boy I sure do love proprietary garbage, thanks sony!!!
boy I sure do love proprietary garbage, thanks sony!!!
I thought many makers do this to cash in on people buying their OEM batteries
Can we please start a petition to ban 1366x768 laptops that are above 13"?
Can we please start a petition to ban 1366x768 laptops that are above 13"?
my friend has that resolution in 15.6 inches, from afar it's fine but when I'm actually using it I see all of the pixels...
well if you bad that resolution, wouldn't the makers use.. 1280x600?
like isn't a reason why they use that is to make the laptop build cheaper?
Actually a better petition is to ban bloatware being installed on pre-builts.
Even better petition, ban companies from using software for handling hardware that Windows can already fucking do readily as is otherwise.

Thank god the "wifi utility" days are over, I always hated that shit in XP.
(Or do those kinda "drivers" still exist?)
