what happens when you grow out of your mineral oil phase and want to build a regularly aspirated computer and all the oil leaks from your gpu for months?
you buy a new one, because you're made of money obviously.
what happens when you grow out of your mineral oil phase and want to build a regularly aspirated computer and all the oil leaks from your gpu for months?
Wash it out with distilled water that doesnt conduct electricity either
are you telling me I wasted money on this stuff? [t]http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/07/82/54/05/0007825405103_500X500.jpg[/t]
Wash it out with distilled water that doesnt conduct electricity either
doesn't conduct till particles get mixed in with it.
I would be too nervous to try distilled water, but Ive heard it works.
Rubbing alcohol works too.
I thought distilled water becomes undistilled as soon as it touches like anything
i drink only bottled distilled water to keep my body clean and my chakra pure
I thought distilled water becomes undistilled as soon as it touches like anything
Yeah, it's very easy to contaminate and render it unusable. Mineral oil aquarium PC's don't just look awful they're a pain in the ass to attach peripherals to. Yeah the Reactor was expensive and not really upgradable but THAT was oil cooling done right. Update on The Great Office Nerf War: I am attempting to curry favor with the interns via bribery with cookies, to secure cannon fodder for the increasingly-violent war. It does not seem to have been effective. Note to self: cannon fodder does not like being referred to as "cannon fodder". I suspect an alliance between the iOS developer and the Android developer, due to their proximity and complete lack of cover between them. An alliance of that sort is logical, and I have noted few hostilities between them. The war may soon extend to the air - RC helicopters have been brought in. I must find where I stashed mine, and see if it still holds a charge. And for the record, you can totally take one down with a Nerf Mega Dart. Easy target when hovering, but very tricky when mobile.
Google sold Motorola to Lenovo. Oh boy.
Is it just me or can you not pause a youtube video if it has a video ad before it?
Actually forget that I said anything. But still what the hell is that. Looks like something out of a movie.
http://uncrate.com/stuff/reactor-pc/ (Source link inside 404s, try the wayback machine?) It's a very expensive, but well made mineral oil PC. Some guy in Minnesota is trying to eke around $2k out of it still on craigslist :v: edit: found a review
Is it just me or can you not pause a youtube video if it has a video ad before it?
Never had that problem. I just click pause.

Nontheless it's still cool and sexy as hell. [editline]29th January 2014[/editline]
Google sold Motorola to Lenovo.
Google sold Motorola to Lenovo. Oh boy.
Patents
Never had that problem. I just click pause.
When I click pause the play/pause icon switches but the video keeps playing I guess it's time to play the game of "Which youtube unrelated extension broke my youtube this time?" again
You can upgrade the CPU pretty easily (apparently the Xeon 775 mod works too) but upgrading the GPU's required milling new blocks.
Upgrading the CPU won't get you too far though, it's the chipset that holds you back up until a certain point.
Google sold Motorola to Lenovo. Oh boy.
Imagine if ThinkPhones happened
Imagine if ThinkPhones happened
Lenovo has already made phones for a while. They're pretty boring.

The RAIDR costs more per GB.
and thus my old T42 was retired from beater duty to serve peaceful days as a NAS. [editline]30th January 2014[/editline] Looking forward to windows 8 on a touchscreen on a budget.
So last night my car started leaking gas from the tank. So this morning we had it towed to a shop. I then find out while I'm texting the shop owner that it's on its way that it was going I noticed that low and behold my S4 glass had cracked.
Well shit thats a lot of money, sorry man
Be honest, did you do it? fucking terrorist
I don't think the tank will be a big deal. I think it's just a fuel pump seal issue.
