sipwicket.com and cipwttkt.com are expiring on 02/27, does anyone still use them, does anyone have a good idea for them or should i just let them expire?
Yes I use the email on sipwicket so if you don't want to renew it yourself I will.
Yes I use the email on sipwicket so if you don't want to renew it yourself I will.
I too use the sipwicket email.
Yes I use the email on sipwicket so if you don't want to renew it yourself I will.

I too use the sipwicket email.
Oh didn't even know that, thought everyone hated the live email that was in dutch by default. I'll renew them and we could possibly look into better email solutions
i took a uSATA SSD out of a laptop and i'm wondering whether i should use it as a boot drive for my main pc, it seems a lot faster than my 10 year old hitachi 250gb drive that is dying are these awful speeds or will it be worth doing?
Oh didn't even know that, thought everyone hated the live email that was in dutch by default. I'll renew them and we could possibly look into better email solutions
Well it took all of 30 seconds to change it to English, and it syncs perfectly through EAS with all my devices, so I'm quite happy to stick with Live email. It's what I use on my domain.
Oh didn't even know that, thought everyone hated the live email that was in dutch by default. It'd suck to suddenly lose that address
the pitch of the static coming through my frontpanel headphones is dependent on my mouse's x and y position...
nick@sipwicket.com is my Steam account email, and I have Steam Guard on. It'd suck to suddenly lose that address
It would be a good idea to switch it to Gmail..
It would be a good idea to switch it to Gmail..
Yeah, having something that important tied to an impermanent joke email is a bad idea :v:
Yeah, having something that important tied to an impermanent joke email is a bad idea :v:
I was under the impression that it wouldn't be impermanent. Also, it's got two step authentication and it's not a standard email domain, it's secure as shit.
I use henri@sipwicket.com sometimes. so yeah, it is in use.
Why does Android have to use MTP, it's the biggest bag of dicks I've ever had to use
welll...yeah? that's kind of the sole tradeoff for higher ISO
Y'know the problem with high ISO film? It's so noisy
Why does Android have to use MTP, it's the biggest bag of dicks I've ever had to use
It works fine, unless you're using an outdated OS that doesn't have proper support for it. MTP has a major thing that's important for consumer electronics, if something goes funky on the host machine, or with USB itself, there's no way for it to corrupt the filesystem in any way. It really is mostly about data loss. ... and so that you don't have to remount the FS when you want to throw some files onto the device from a computer etc.
It works fine, unless you're using an outdated OS that doesn't have proper support for it.
is your computer magic, sir
... and so that you don't have to remount the FS when you want to throw some files onto the device from a computer etc.
It shouldn't have been necessary for UMS mode either, I don't know how the fuck Google screwed that up
Finally fixed my Windows 7 colour looking crap compared to Linux. I needed to be a bit more aggressive when adjusting the gamma. Edit:
0:32
I was genuinely interested in this until he said it retailed for $300. Now I'm not going to even bother converting that into pounds. Shame too, looks like I'm going to have to stick to looking for a cheap wireless router or switch and that small TP link Wi-Fi extender.
is your computer magic, sir
Its not hard. You plug it in and it works.
oh god, put them in a ziplock bag before you put them in a fridge
Considering they've been there for a year, and at least 5 more in the last fridge, too late :v: Also we've always kept film in the fridge, dunno why exactly
So. I'm waking up this morning turning everything on and stuff and the first thing I noticed is this giant blue fucking line down my second monitor. Phillips you piece of shit manufacturer get your monitors right.
Throw it away so people like me get more free stuff.
Its not hard. You plug it in and it works.
That's how it's supposed to work in theory. I like the theory. In practice you have to do a lot of fiddling to get it to work right (and no, I don't mean "wait for it to install drivers"). And then if you're using Linux all bets are off - I have all the prerequisites installed and a file browser that supports it, and not once have I been able to get MTP to work at all.
Just got my xeon e5450 plugged into my g31m es2l, and I notice that the FSB/RAM multiplier options have changed to 1.60x, 2x and 2.40x. AWH YEE, IT'S OVERCLOCKING TIME!
Look at TinyTomLogan's new 24-core xeon rig:
The AMD white knights in the comments are adorable "muh threads, muh folding"
