Windows 8(.1) works fine on a 5 year old T61, I don't see why it wouldn't on a newer Vaio unless they use very special hardware.
"Sony Vaio" does kinda sound like they do, though. Do sony have just as much proprietary bullshit on their computers as they do on their consoles/handhelds/phones/etc
Corsair RM-750 ordered. First part of my major PC upgrade. I am excite.
Remember, we're talking about Sony. SONY. Proprietary storage card for PS vita, cameras and camcorders (they stopped I think), music players. Even my phone requires proprietary Sony brand headset to use the mic properly :v: I'll go ahead and email Sony about it, hopefully their support isn't proprietary!

At least I can always call.... "The Sony consumer electronics support hotline can only be dialed with Sony handsets. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause." Damn.

Somehow using exec() in python feels dirty, but it lets me do what I need to do with the least lines of code.
Somehow using exec() in python feels dirty, but it lets me do what I need to do with the least lines of code.
exec is cool but if you use it recursively your program becomes self aware and you have to take your computer outside and shoot it
So yeah my Grandma died today :(
So yeah my Grandma died today :(
sorry to hear it man, hope you're alright
So yeah my Grandma died today :(
I know that feel bro It sucks
So I got into the steam music beta earlier today. Wow this is fucking awful. It only works in big picture mode, and it doesn't even work there. It also doesn't support flac at all. Yeah, I'm not going to convert my entire library just so that some shitty overlay can lag out and play clipped audio. Don't get me wrong, I had no intentions of using it since you are never going to get some of the fiddly organizational features in something like that that a stand alone program is going to have, but I was at least expecting something that's actually functional. [editline]13th February 2014[/editline] Oh wow, didn't refresh the page before posting. That sucks man.

" guess what flac is slightly edge case
I can see it being pretty much mandatory for having on a Steam box, but unless I get one I'm not gonna use it.

Valve has pretty much said they would rather involve their users in every step of a product development than release a product that no one likes. For example it only supports mp3 but they said that's because this is their first implementation.
iirc, FO3 was one of the ones you had to fiddle like a bitch with. Had to alt tab back in, click icon on task bar a few times, try alt tabbing a few times again. Just fuck with it until it worked.
Bring back from minimization, tab out to some other windowed program (and/or click desktop), click inside small black area of FO3 window 60% of the time it works every time (no but seriously it almost always works for me)
Buttcoins just dipped to $300/BTC again on MtGox. RIP.
I have 10LTC, maybe I should buy BTC with them
Dogecoin is almost on the moon.
In unrelated news, my job is pretty cool. This is the startup procedure to engage The Pandora Array.
Mt Gox kild bitcoyns
Well, if I understand the situation correctly, they might very well have. Temporally, at least.

It's an alright player but it's nothing exceptional. I'm sure someone will come along with a way to integrate, say, Foobar2000 into SteamOS or something like that.
Beta codes for Titanfall going out on twitter https://twitter.com/ConwayShow
theyre for xbone though
And pc, but the asshole is putting the key codes themselves out of order so you have to rearrange them.
-snip-
well, figured out the code for PC but it was already taken, and now he's not doing the rearranging thing anymore.
Can we all take a moment to reflect on how American Megatrends is like the coolest name for a BIOS programmer ever?

So I noticed that somebody had sent me 0.00000001 BTC (like 6/1000th of a cent) to my coinbase wallet for whatever reason After investigating the details, it came from this wallet wtf
