I'll be spending Valentines day with my good friend, Lynda.
C#, Java for people who don't want a job, and love Microsoft.
C#, Java for people who don't want a job, and love Microsoft.
I prefer C# to Java. i'd say C# is my favourite language so far. You can get a job doing C#. and people who know C# could swap to Java pretty easily anyway.
I repeat my .....................
Can't you just explain your thoughts instead of acting like a stone wall/dick?
I need my glasses to C#

I prefer C# to Java. i'd say C# is my favourite language so far. We can't all be Carmack.
C#, Java for people who don't want a job, and love Microsoft.
There are plenty of C#/MSSQL/ASP.net jobs out there.
I'm going to eat a frozen pizza, play video games, and jerk off [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] Not all at the same time
I'm gonna have wild gay buttsex tonight, goml. [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] Great way to start a page.
Can't you just explain your thoughts instead of acting like a stone wall/dick?
I spent the last like 2 pages explaining why I hate vsync, why it's frequently broken and why I always force it off. So you telling me to turn it off to fix the sensitivity of Skyrim is humorous to me.
I'm going to eat a frozen pizza, play video games, and jerk off [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] Not all at the same time
Pizza and Titanfall. :smug: [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] *papa murphys pizza, not no frozen garbage.
So you guys remember the Great Office Nerf War? Well, the Nerf War part is over. However, two of the guys brought in boxing gloves today. And it's not like we get any work done after 4pm anyways. I apparently acquitted myself quite well, considering my training was "two weeks of Jeet Kun Do at the AmFam several years ago" and I was fighting an ex-Marine. He was going easy on me, definitely, but I still did pretty well.
Oh christ, my screen has high resolution. I normally have it at 1600 x 900 because that's the resolution I prefer instead of the huge 1920 x 1080. Also, something fucked with my text. [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] There we go. RDP might've bugged up and set my resolution back to native along with messing with the text.
It's always fun when you go from a small resolution to something bigger. Going from this Acer's 1366x768 to my T61's 1680x1050 is gonna be awkward.

[t]http://puu.sh/6Wp21.jpg[/t] [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] Also, am I the only one having the issue with Dropbox and Puush having very incorrect upload times/percentages? Because when I push a file, Puush goes right to 100% even if it just started. For Dropbox, it reports a absurd upload speed.
Who would ever run their screen at less than native resolution for normal use?
Who would ever run their screen at less than native resolution for normal use?
I just noticed that I was using my native resolution all along. Forgot that I have the setting to increase text size so it makes everything a tad bit bigger.
do you happen to live in georgia
Nope, Indiana. Found out that Avast's Web Shield is futzing with upload clients, but even after excluding their processes and URLs, they still are having issues.
aw [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] thought i found another poster from GA
How's Comcast with their internet service? I have TWC but that might change because of that deal.
Pizza and Titanfall. :smug: [editline]14th February 2014[/editline] *papa murphys pizza, not no frozen garbage.
how do you get a beta code? I honestly forgot Respawn was a thing
How's Comcast with their internet service? I have TWC but that might change because of that deal.
bad
So today I went to my mothers store to fix a computer which contained almost all the data relating to the store she runs, without using a backup. She also has 3 other pc's running for orders, camera's, and for everything else. So, I inspect the pc, it only has a version of nod32 outdated by 5 years. It has 22 viruses, and hasn't been rebooted in over a year. It was also running xp and had about 128MB's of RAM. So I check what it's running. An SQL server and webserver with camera software, Label printing software, The 5 year old version of nod32, Office 2010 background service, And a lot of store programs. Now remind this pc is already at least 7 years old. So the thing is running an old 100GB ide harddrive, and has about 1GB of swap used all the time from active processes. The other 3 pc's, although more modern, also had no virus protection at all, and one of them even had the credentials of a centralized ftp server for the store saved in plaintext. I left a note for the centralized IT department of the store chain, who actually maintained the computers every day, that this was idiotic, and one smart hacker could essentially delete EVERYTHING they have and bankrupt the company. I dont understand how some IT guy's get a hold of their jobs, this was just idiotic.
Small business computers are extremely scary. Knowing that their entire business exists on a Dell POS with no regards to security or backups is troubling.
Anyone around here watch nuts? I'm looking for a sub $50 watch to get myself for my birthday (probably)...Something analog and not ugly as fuck.
How's Comcast with their internet service? I have TWC but that might change because of that deal.
Its quicker than most other options around here, customer service sucks balls but I haven't needed to use it much, if at all.
