Looking through DX to laugh at shit

I don't understand why this is so hilarious, it's just a fucking PCB with some LEDs and usb contacts, it serves no purpose other than to burn your eyes out whenever you look at your computer
It's a USB port tester
It's a USB port tester
See that would make sense if it was sold as that, this was apparently just a "usb light"
Besides, why would you use 3 giant leds for testing a usb port :v:

Testing which contacts in the port actually work.
It's a USB port tester
If it's a USB port tester then why would they use three ultrabright white LEDs?
So the latest windows 8 update made skydrive launch automatically with no way to close it (other than the task manager), uninstall it or stop it from launching at startup
This is kind of ridiculous
Does anyone have that video or gif (I can't remember which it is) that showed this way of getting into a windows 2000 (or maybe 98) account without a password? It was something like pressing the help file and launching explorer.exe through the help file. I just remember this and want to see it again.
Could you elaborate? I've never seen a post on FP say anything good about an ISP that wasn't Google so I'd like to know what I'm about to have to deal with. Do they have caps? An unlimited plan? Throttling? Also how is their TV service, might get TV if they offer anything good.
Depending where you live, they have a cap. Here in Washington, its not enforced. The TV service doesn't suck too much. You get access to the xfinity app for Xbox and on your computer with basic cable, which is kind of like Netflix in the streaming aspect. I've had Comcast 4 months now and my bill is $80 a month. Internet, 3 converter boxes and an HD DVR.

I remember an old windows 98 computer I had that was password protected. You could just close the password prompt window and it would log on.

Do you have the arguing capability and sense of weight of your actions of an elementary school child? You too can get a game on the steam store.

Correction: Will not be, either.
Please don't start with the whole "Aprentices are nothing" again.

Dumb enough to release the trash they did, and apparently dumb enough to try and defend it.

Ran into that on Reddit, I honestly couldn't do anything for almost a minute because of the laughing.

Local security was nonexistent in all the 9x based Windows OS's. The only reason that prompt existed is for logging on to network resources. User accounts existed, but only for setting preferences really. The passwords for each user was stored in a (.PWD?) file in System32 which any user could access, obviously.

I have had android for 5 years and have done anything you can do with a android phone, and i feel the wp ui is much more appealing.
But yeah point of this was Page 925 :v:
You had a GNex, your Android experience is definitively subpar :v:
You had a GNex, your Android experience is definitively subpar :v:
My GNex isn't all that bad, despite having your typical old device problems. Like RAM.
Also damn you two. I keep thinking your the same person....or are you?
Nah the Gnex was a great device but google came out and said yup after these few months no more support for you. Even though you can get a stable rom of kitkat on it.
Then i also had google play services where i tried everything to stop it from draining battery and it didnt stop.
Windows phone 8 will be even better once Windows phone 8.1 update comes out.

Holy sshit, I never thought this would be true, but I got fucking spooked by mgs2.
Holy shit, when you are playing too long the voices of people get distortet. I thought it's a funny joke, but then the one girl talks to me, and tells me in a demonic male voice that she's pregnant, fucking terrified the shit out of me.
And the whole thing was followed up by a "Fission Mailed" screen. Oh lawd god help me.

Doesn't MGS actually tell you to stop playing if you've been doing it too long?
Might just be MGS3

Battery life. I had the OEM extended battery and still occasionally had issues going a full day.
Battery life. I had the OEM extended battery and still occasionally had issues going a full day.
Battery life is still not great compared to modern devices but I've learned how to mitigate background drain a bit. I can listen to Google Music at work for at least 7 hours and only get down to 45%.

When I say bad I mean as bad as any other huge no competition ISP on the market. They're currently rolling out 300gb caps ($10 per 50gb over) "in select test areas" so don't count on not having a cap for very long. It's TV, I don't watch it much. I'm trying to convince my parents to cancel it, with our triple play package (internet, TV, phone) we pay $150/mo for digital cable (1-1000, two HD boxes one with a DVR), 30/5 internet, and unlimited home phone calls (it's actually VOIP anyway).
May I ask what sort of calculator has a webcam interface?
My old Texad Instrumente TI-nSpire. It had a data port that was really easy to access with any assembly or lua program and I got some old webcam at a thrift shop with a funky interface. I found some documentation on it and it was possible to convert its data output to something the calculator could use.
