why the FUCK do ebooks cost so much? I have a huge list of books I've been meaning to read, and I want to make the jump to a kindle dedicated reader, my g2 doesn't dim enough for me to read comfortably at night, and epaper gives me massive erections, but for fucks sake does a book published in 1949 need to cost $5.59 for an electronic version?

my use of commas in that little rant was deplorable
ebooks are ridiculous, I've been wanting to get a kindle or something and digitize my library so I have everything on one device, but ebook prices are so bad. I'm probably just going to seek "alternative measures" to get the files since I already have physical copies but no way in hell am I going to pay extra for digital

If you want to know true hell, its using two different laptops each with a different one. You always fuck it up.

my problem with that when I "borrowed" the song of ice and fire books (I own 1-4 paperback) was that the formatting was atrocious. I'm hoping the difference between an official kindle format and some random epub is better and it looks like a proper publication. Still doesn't justify the prices imo

I know, I use my Vaio Pro as my main laptop, though I use the T400 for managing my Windows Server 2012R2 box since I don't want to use a domain account on my desktop. Copy and pasting is so frustrating since I get into the habit of copying something to the clipboard, closing the tab/document and realizing I hit FN-C instead of CTRL-C.

Apparently Tasker will throw a fit if I create a folder that already exists, however the error can be toggled to not stop the application.

i hate my laptop keyboard with a passion, it has an us keyboard layout with swedish keys on it, the enter button is really annoying to hit since i usually press on the upper left part on it

I have to say, the French Canadian keyboard that I had on my Aspire One has to be the worst thing ever.

The left shift key was infuriatingly small. The way I taught myself how to type, I almost never use the right shift key for some reason.

don't normal shift keys look like that?
my mechanical keyboard shift is small
I never use right shift because it's honestly not that useful with the Finnish keyboard layout.

The US layout normally has wide left and right shift keys.

never really thought of how different the us layout is
like how we can't access the console with ~ because we have a § key there
and [ ] is alt+8&9, using hammer is probably more efficient in the states :v:

I find it weird as hell to use the right shift key, so I never use it either.
Also, is it bad that when I was first typing as a kid, I never used the shift key? For capital letters, I'd hit the Caps Lock key, the letter and then the Caps Lock key again. I then learned how to use shift properly (which helped quite a bit with my typing speed.)

the employee timesheet computer at my job has that keyboard. its so awful.
I used to fuss over keyboard layouts like that, but now that I've owned my thinkpad for a year and it's made its place in my family of laptops it really isn't that big of a deal once you get used to switching.

might pick it up a few days after release if it turns out to be good. im trying to refrain from preordering games from now on since both I and plenty of people have been burned too often. I had the same strategy for Diablo 3, Sim City V and BF4. worked out well here
Kpop. I recommend SNSD, or Girl's Day. Or f(x).

I'm motivated to do school work because I can't get my driver's license otherwise.
I have so many reviews and projects I need to do because I still think I can make YT work as a job. But no matter what I find so many ways to not do it. It's horrible.
