Anyone use a exercise ball or a ball chair at their desk. I need a new chair and I was looking to get one.
should I buy a new processor for my lga 1155 board or save (probably going to take until the summer) and get a new motherboard and whatever cpu is popular at that time? I'm running an i3 2100 right now and it's finally starting to show its age in some of the more cpu intensive games. I could probably do with a newer gpu with higher vram now that I'm running at 1440p but I think the i3 should go before the 560ti 448 core.
Thoughts?

Tried it. Hated it.
I've been hunting on Craigslist for an Aeron.
Whats the appeal of Aerons?
We had loads of those at work. Employees treated them like shit.
Just got a Steam client beta update pop-up, they've added "support for hardware-accelerated decryption on modern Intel and AMD CPUs".
Interesting. It makes sense to utilize the functionality, but I never expected to see that in Steam.
Get a proper chair get DXRacer chair.
I have a DXRacer R-series Chief red.

They look sort of comfortable but they really cheaped out on the arms
Bean bag, those things are comfy as hell.
I like to sit up high when working, so I thought a giant ball would help since it would make my ass not hurt like a bitch like my current chair.
Only problem is I have a lovely habit of sitting on a leg. I can't not do it so it might not work well when I got only one leg on the ground.
Get a safety harness and strap yourself onto the ceiling.
sitting on a leg is so comfortable until you get up and it's asleep
I use my laptop and tablet a lot in bed, and I tend to prop myself up with my left arm, but I can only do it for like 10-15 minutes, after which I can actually feel blood circulation being affected too much, so I have to switch pose.

I can't imagine a giant ball that constantly needs you to balance and has zero back support would be good for your health or concentration

Air based support means it's all evenly supported. No hotspots.
Secondly it keeps you a bit active since you're balancing. Yea, you can fall but unless you're a quadriplegic you'll be fine.
You know, I was expecting some sort of response from Valve for the whole VAC thing, but I wasn't expecting Gabe to actually come out on Reddit, explain what the code did, what the results were, and then deactivate it.

It's very refreshing to see Valve directly respond to something, and so quickly too. It spread like wildfire and they knew it'd affect them if gaming "journalism" websites caught on to it

I'm amazed Valve said something of any kind.

First my phone screen breaks the day before I get my screen protector, and now my computer randomly shut off and won't turn on (and it's not the PSU) the day before I get my 2 graphics cards
fuckin' A
Friend gave me a 'dead' Samsung 840 Pro 128GB, when i put it in my hot swap bay, windows plays the 'device connected' sound and "SAMSUNG SATA SSD" shows up in device manager and in the taskbar, but I can't see it in disk management, and samsung magician software doesn't see it.
Officially borked?
edit: not visible in bios, probably fucked
