i really like the new subscription thing, $72 for all adobe products a month, affordable
I'm starting to question why OSX is even a thing. It's literally Linux skewed to the point it runs it's Apple's own programs and looking pretty. [editline]18th February 2014[/editline] Oh right, we still have tech illiterates in this world. [editline]18th February 2014[/editline] And Final Cut is like $300 compared to $600 for Sony Vegas. Movie editing is a bitch apparently. [editline]18th February 2014[/editline] Make that $400 if you want the full set for Final Cut.
I've heard that the workflow with Adobe software is pretty good, open a video file in Premiere Pro, want vfx? Open that video file directly into After Effects from Premiere, when you're done it goes back to Premiere Pro. Overlay storyboards into Premiere, etc. I've yet to actually use it though extensively, I've been using Sony Vegas Pro 11 for a while. The only 64-bit computer I have access to is that 3 year old sony vaio laptop still running Vista Ultimate and I can see why people transcode stuff. It's so slow (intel core 2 duo or something like that at 2.2GHz). I'll have to get windows 7 64-bit installed and change the 32-bit pc I use for Sony Vegas to 64-bit to actually use Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

Love the sound card
i really like the new subscription thing, $72 for all adobe products a month, affordable
i find it to be much less affordable in the long run [editline]18th February 2014[/editline] £50 a month for years on end is a lot of money for software
i find it to be much less affordable in the long run
It's affordable if you're employed but I'm not, yet. I was told to get CS6 and because of this, Adobe was smart enough to shit on my licenses that I cannot use Premiere Pro and After Effects when I solely got it for learning. Oh well. £300 down the shitter.
i would much rather pay a lump sum than a subscription, especially if i was still employed.
My schools macs still use cs3, cs4 and even elements for photoshop. I found cs3 to be pretty good already unless you really need the additional features and better performance from updates. Elements is horrible tho.
I still have CS1 on my MacBook.
Regarding the dead SSD, there seems to be no way to actually RMA the thing. The only options on the "Request Service" page is to modify contact info, buy accessories or register a new product... And the SSD RMA form I found on their site leads to "page not found" after submitting, fucking assmung
I still have CS1 on my MacBook.
2003 software :)
This is what happens when I don't turn my computer off completely for a long time Maybe I should close some things...

yeah, that's what I was thinking [sp]It's like making a huge mess in your car and then buying a bigger car[/sp]
Hackintosh is working...well enough anyway. I need to do more testing with different hardware (Blackmagic intensity card and NTFS). OSX 10.8 likes my Quadro 4000 unlike 10.9. And dual boot with Windows 7. Now that it works I don't' care about Mac vs PC, because OSX is just custom BSD. It's easy when it works, sometimes it crashes on me. The Multicam is more of a pain that Premiere's. Avid FX isn't the nicest compositor I've used. Anyone who is thinking about Avid, NEVER AMA link non editing codecs without transcoding first. Pretty cool Sony Monitor though, is it OLED.
transcoding with AMA is pretty obvious though. sony monitor is not oled, it's an old led one. it's got a tape deck underneath it but we've gone tapeless sooooo
yeah, that's what I was thinking [sp]It's like making a huge mess in your car and then buying a bigger car[/sp]
Sounds like why some people bought SUVs and vans instead of cars, to store more crap
Anyone want anything from Logitech? I've got a 10% code off VIP prices (which are sometimes already 20-40% off) so just drop me a PM or something and I'll tell you what price it is. Code expires on Thursday
nod32 does not like that image.
Yeah it keeps on blocking the domain for me
DDOS is in no way fun. Because it makes other people suffer. Even if you "fuck up" a friends server. That server is likely to be hosted in a datacentre, and some poor sysadmin has to fix it. Oh and the person who rented the server has to pay increased costs, most likely due to traffic limits or other stuff. It's just bad, and does not contribute to anything good.
its saracasm, sorry. i in no way think ddosing is fun and this ddos cost us 2 scrims (pre-game practice matches), and the previous one made us switch providers, and the one before that cost us a week of not being able to access email, and the one before that and the one before that. what i meant is "its fun though". anyways, they stopped for about 6 hours last night but now they're doing it again. good thing we got a new server last week. in other news, i'm going to best buy to get a i5-3570k price matched today.

in all seriousness what application is that?
in all seriousness what application is that?
http://gabeazo.com/ Puush alternative.
http://gabeazo.com/ Puush alternative.
do you have to run the .exe each time or is there a fancy control shift command?
Oh my fucking god i hate doing phone support. Today, i had someone genuinely ask me where the any key was.
i have to give a 4-7 minute speech on "what DDOS is and how it affects you" to a group of young adults who aren't computer savvy. help
i have to give a 4-7 minute speech on "what DDOS is and how it affects you" to a group of young adults who aren't computer savvy. help
Explain it as the following: Server = Local KFC DDOS = 200 people craving for some fried chicken. edit: [Removed the slight racism]
