He says it feels faster than the GS70 with a 765M, so it's got to be a 865M or higher. Maybe if the 880m is Maxwell and 20nm, we will start seeing it in designs not much thicker than that.

Also I wouldn't be surprised that if a 790 does appear it will be 2x 28nm Maxwell rather than 2xGK110.
But I think the 790 may be skipped entirely. I mean it's not like the 7990 ever came to much.

i previously called on best buy corprate on the phone to see if i can just do it without going to the store and waiting, but they told me that they don't do price matching with microcenter. so i tried my luck and went to the store, and after 45 minutes, it went through and i left a very happy camper.

by what the retailers are doing, do you mean by price? if so, the 780ti would cost me around $1000 while the r9 290x costs around $830.
how do i take IRC text and translate it into keyboard keypresses?

Yeah, around best buy the word "policy" carries about as much strength as a soggy pool noodle. Which kind of sucks becasue some management cares a lot more about policy than the rest of management teaches, so accidentally getting fired is not that hard. Ive already got my final warning for bullshit like that.
