Apparently so. Picked it up from eBay for a decent price.
The screen, keyboard, and general build quality are all great in my opinion, it's just really let down by the CPU (Atom) and the 4400RPM IDE HDD (which rules out any SATA upgrade to a SSD).
Windows 8.1 seems very kind on the low 2GB of RAM.
Bay Trail-T would easily fit inside TDPwise, as would a tablet Haswell chip like the ones in the Venue 11 Pro, it's just smartphones and tablets have totally taken over the market, so I doubt we will ever see anything like it again.
I got a "broken" PS2 for like $20 and it seems like the only issue with it is that the guy was trying to pump 220v through a 110v console. It works, and runs games, but the drive is pretty noisy so I wanna look into that.
Also, it reeks of resin. I'm not experienced with drugs but it's not cig tar and the [I]fine gentlemen[/I] who sold it to me didn't look like carpenters

The drive probably just needs some grease on the laser carrage rails and disc tray.

Welp I fixed it. Just needed a little grease and a tune of the laser height. Gave it a good cleaning, too. Now, to try and trade it for a smartphone or a PSP or something.
