only two monitors work at a time and apparently it's a issue that even with two R9 270xes, you can't run DVI-DVI-HDMI as a setup without an adapter

Bizarre. I managed to get DVI - (DVI-> VGA) - (DP -> VGA) to work in a triple monitor setup with only a 6850. I bet if you got a DP -> HDMI, maybe then it would work?

Yeah, just bought a DP -> DVI adapter to make it work.
Still weird that triple monitor doesn't work with a common setup in 2012+2.

No source so I can't really see much more about it. But the way its worded makes it seem like the HDMI port is somehow "bonded" to the (single link?) DVI port. But I don't know, I never really experimented with it since my setup required two VGA outputs.
I don't know how that would explain your case since you have two actual GPU's though.

I like this semi-new layout. it uses the whole screen, drop down boxes, etc. Granted I'm using youtube center so a lot of the bad stuff is removed/replaced.

I personally use Norse/Greek gods to name my PC's and devices.
Zeus, Odin, Poseidon, Adonis, Loki, etc...

Had to "fix" a guys broken graphic card driver, because the screen was black.
Turned out, the monitor was just turned off.
