So I've finally got Metro IE to reappear. Apparently if you have a non-IE browser set as default for a period of time, it bitches out and decides to change the shortcut tile to desktop IE instead. I set it to default and then set chrome as default again and you know what? Metro IE is alright. Touch gestures work well. My main problem is that if I only use touch, I can't actually use the ratings on FP. Apparently unlike other mobile browsers, IE doesn't leave a mouse trace over the post to keep the ratings visible, so I tap the post and they just appear and vanish immediately.
Overall I give IE for Metro on a touch device 7.5/10. If it weren't for the ratings thing, it would be 8.

Buy a proper power supply you can trust to not fuck you over or emit more RFI than a microwave and put its guts in the clear PSU enclosure.
Build your system with minimal LED's (none for the fans and for fucks sake, none for the case) but go all out and add a POST card with indicator lights and shit like Corsair's XMS ram with the fancy status lamps.

I'm unsure if I should do it per video or per month. I think per video ends up making me only want to run only specific videos as paid and just makes things complicated.

Monthly means I get paid regardless if I make videos. I don't like to do that, but I fear that if I stick with video, the amount of varied style of content I make means I will constantly be deciding if it's worth being paid for or not.

I used to have the crystal case Original Gameboy. Holy shit it's ugly, but at the same time it's the greatest kind of ugly. Clear casing on electronics is a crime against humanity. Get some nasty letters from the UN if they catch you today.
I've just spent the last few hours trying to work out what I did to my Linux install, turns out I somehow managed to remove or replace about half the authentication system, so I could log in, but could use sudo or su or anything actually fun.

Clear casing is shit, but a window side panel on a really clean, good looking computer case can look excellent
