I want to axe my network with a new one with Cat5 jacks but I don't have the money nor the permission to rip holes in dads house.
Because this shit is getting ridiculous.

A friend of mine bought this laptop just to solely play Minecraft. But the real kick is he used to use the 14" Alienware Laptop for Minecraft (He still that too). The only reason he told me for buying the 17" was better specs, and this is coming from the guy who I can't even convince to download steam or F2P games.
Also looking for a pic of the laptop I ended up finding this on the Alienware site

You know I never was sold on the these laptops, but the Linkin Park has really changed my mind.
Well at least they know who they're marketing to
lol, just had to update BIOS.
you know, every time brt does something cool with his channel it inspires me to try my own hand at it
and then i remember i have no equipment and the only channel i could actually make is yet another video game channel

Ah, NTOSKRNL.EXE.
The bane of my computer's data at one point.
So I started one of my IT classes today

To teach us why correctly named variables is important, we had to figure out what that last line would print without running the script
x = 10
y = 5
z = 6
x_squared = x + x
y_times_2 = z / 2
x_squared_plus_y_times_2 = x_squared * y_times_2
print x_squared_plus_y_times_2
We all wanted to shoot somebody
Is it 60?
Pretty sure it is, I'm on my phone tho, can't test it.

That is actually a brilliant way to drive the point home. Wish my programming class at hd hook was more like this. Or at least something more than a week of pseudo code before the teacher gave up and everyone just played minecraft.
Also the computers we were using are pretty cool
It's a small desktop PC on the back of a metal stand, the TV mounted to it is all touchscreen, there's a webcam mounted under it along with a shelf for the mouse and keyboard, a small plate with USB ports, a VGA port for connecting a laptop, and a few buttons to toggle between PC/Laptop and change speaker volume
Then the whole thing is on wheels, so it can be rolled over to wherever they need it, plugged in and everything's ready to go
My mom put the 8600 I had laying around in a plastic bag...
So, Googling stuff is hard when you are fuzzy on the details
I'm looking for some program or script that can fire off small UDP packets rapidly, and without caring about getting answers. The whole point is just to send small amounts of traffic to shitloads of addresses (traffic gets dumped into null0, so no returns)
I can't think of anything that could do that right now. Anyone know of something like that
Edit: Might have something, but leaving the post in case it turns out not to be what i needed
You guys are gonna love this. I was showing my Nexus 5 to friends and one of the friends is a huge Drake fan, so I said "OK Google, Drake sucks dick" and it thought I said "Drake sex tape"
10 out of fucking 10 worth every penny

Netcat has a UDP mode.

HOLY FUCK I MANAGED TO HOTSWAP A PHONE BATTERY HOLY SHIT I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IF IT IS POSSIBLE BUT HOLY SHIT IT IS HOLY MOTHERFUCKING GOD!
How?
HOLY FUCK I MANAGED TO HOTSWAP A PHONE BATTERY HOLY SHIT I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IF IT IS POSSIBLE BUT HOLY SHIT IT IS HOLY MOTHERFUCKING GOD!
Smell that?
It's uptime
So I've got my PS2 slim all taken apart and I'm curious, why is the heat sink so... spacious? I mean there's like a 1cm gap between fins, you can count the fins on your hands. Obviously it does the job for most but I can't help but question the reasoning.
Smell that?

i dont really understand the obsession with long uptimes on phones but then again i run nightlies
can you just plug it in, then swap the battery?
i dont really understand the obsession with long uptimes on phones but then again i run nightlies
Neither do I, the longest uptime I've ever had was over 90 days, and that was an iPod with tethered jailbreak
After two days i now ditch Outlook, holy shit.
Slow, cluttered and a huge interface on the 2013 version.
Back to Thunderbird it is.
can you just plug it in, then swap the battery?
tried it, nope. could work w/ a factory cable tho.
I swapped because I don't like downtime. This phone boots like 2min + loading shit open takes a few mins too. Had a full battery next to me and managed to slip it in fast enough.
My 2012 nexus 7 had 180 days of uptime before I sold it
