Hey Brt, you might know this. Just started minecraft up for the first time in a long time and when forcing AA though Nvidia control panel I end up getting black lines between blocks. Do you know a fix for that?

There are issues on some previous gen cards when forcing transparency AA or AF.

yeah, this makes much more sense. if i recall, they said they've been monitoring/recording me for the past 2 months because of the incident with my friend. didn't realize that they could actually basically record my screen.

Anything, even setting it to "Use my settings" instead of "let the application decide" in control panel throws it into line crazy mode. Most tips on fixing it looked up are from forums populated by 9 year olds.

I meant, if I chose 'Use the advanced 3D image settings' in the control panel it causes the black lines, even if I never change the global settings from the default 'application-controlled' settings, let alone adding the 'Java(TM) Platform SE binary' program to set program specific graphic settings for minecraft. Even left at all the standard defaults, it still has the issue. The issue only goes away if I chose 'Let the 3D Application decide' in the 'Adjust image settings with preview' control panel menu, but then I'm without AA/AF in Minecraft.
From what I've seen from looking it up I've not seen any fixes, I was just hoping it was a simple 'ah yes, turn this off' situation.
Of first of all. Never use the fucking image preview thing. It's been worthless for 10 years.
Go to Manage 3D Settings. Restore defaults.
Set to Override any application setting.
Set your AA level
And that's it.
If that doesn't work it's likely Mojang being cunts and messing with the AA injection. They added this completely fucking dumbass shader system which is completely pointless.

Oh I know that preview thing is worthless, it's just the only setting that wasn't jacking up game. I restored to default and then tried adjusting the settings with the same result, different AA settings all yielded no AA in game, and the line glitch. Thanks though man, I'll just have to continue living without AA, in 2014.
