I was streaming TF2 from my main PC to a laptop over 54g WiFi and Steam gaming streaming is much better than I thought it was.
I got the logo I wanted from marketing. Except this is it zoomed in at 1200%. IT'S NOT PROPERLY ALIGNED HOW DO YOU FUCK UP A 100% HORIZONTAL RECTANGLE WHEN PHOTOSHOP DOES IT FOR YOU

Has it been scaled down?
How much can I even trust this?
Scaling will do that. Has it been scaled down?
Scaling doesn't do it inconsistently, though. But fuck it, I upscaled it and traced it and now it looks good. Also bilinear is the best way to scale down IMO and it looks like they didn't even do that.
hey GD, what do you guys use for transcoding MKV's from bluray / DVD uncompressed (IE fucking enormous >30gb for a BD) to smaller MKV's (ideally with GPU accel)? Handbrake seems to work well but is pretty slow (2x tops) even though I have an i7, and Mediacoder works extremely quickly (12x +) but doesn't encode into MKV if you're using the CUDA encoder
How much can I even trust this?
Probably not very well. When it fails, it will probably fail with only a few days warning at most. It might just cease operating. That's not exactly unique to OCZ SSDs either. SSDs in general have a habit of just spontaneously imploding once they've decided they've had enough.
Well I have to write the biggest load of horseshit in my course, its not even remotely related to anything IT related. They even used that bias as fuck Alan Titchmarch violent games "debate" thing from about four years ago. (Google it if you don't know what I'm on about) They also shown this video about this game which trivialises the seriousness of cancer which I did not want to see on coincidently the same day my best friend died of four years ago.
motherfucking Philips. A year ago I got given a LCD monitor which wasn't turning on. Like a week ago I opened it up and inspected the capacitors, and found three which were faulty. Today the replacement caps came in, soldered them on, and powered it on. It was working until a fucking resistor on the transformer board due to a short circuit. Notice I haven't done ANYTHING there, maybe the thing got insanely hot and caused the soldering to melt, or it was bad to begin with. I at least noticed that this thing looked like it had very little runtime, as the panel's white colors were very good, unlike my Dell SE198WFP which has ran over 14000 hours. [editline]28th February 2014[/editline] Oh never mind it was just off. [editline]28th February 2014[/editline] YES, IT LIVES AGAIN!!!
Maybe they used Illustrator...
Illustrator is the same, though

Neither video input gets results, OSD won't turn on, doesn't say "no input" or anything. I'm wagering bad LCD driver. Haven't taken it apart yet cause I'm not home yet, but I don't think its the power supply. [editline]28th February 2014[/editline] Found the logic board in online shops for ~$30, identical model number board but they're from different brand monitors. Just to be sure, there shouldn't be any harm in taking the model matched logic board from an LG or an ASUS monitor and using it here, should there?
Fucking Windows shush! All I am trying to do is fucking install Java JDK 64bit FFS.
maybe they used gimp
I should hope the marketing team of a 280,000 employee company can afford real graphics tools.
maybe they used gimp
I use gimp, you can't fuck up a square unless you tried :v:
Man it looks like it was really worth it to fix this monitor. The image is crystal fucking clear. Even better than my Dell SE189WFP
okay so I have finally upgraded to windows 8 on my desktop computer. It's actually really nice that you have to login to your Microsoft account since it syncs your background, account image, and probably other things. I also didn't have to install a single driver, it just worked.
I should hope the marketing team of a 280,000 employee company can afford real graphics tools.
then they fucked up
wait what, do you need to make an online account to use win8?
I think it's because Windows 8 is based on your microsoft account or something like that. Also, DRM..?
wait what, do you need to make an online account to use win8?
It wants you to use a Microsoft Account as your Windows user by default. You can of course choose a local account by clicking the small "Create Account" at the bottom, and then click "Create Local User".
Yeah, but it's nice if you're just one person and you've already got an MS account. It also synced my mail accounts.
on windows 8.1 you have to enter an invalid microsoft account to make the "create local account" button appear :v:

Oops I bought another: [t]http://s29.postimg.org/thd3pr46v/2014_02_28_19_16_31.jpg[/T]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Mdfaisx.jpg[/t] I'm gonna be so happy when I finally decide on some full-tower case and have tons of room. Maybe then the graphics card won't start overheating whenever I have the case lid on. I guess it's still used to that cold Swedish weather.
on windows 8.1 you have to enter an invalid microsoft account to make the "create local account" button appear :v:
Yeah, this is just annoying when setting a computer up for someone else and there's no need for an account really.
Oops I bought another: [t]http://s29.postimg.org/thd3pr46v/2014_02_28_19_16_31.jpg[/T]
Thats make me incredibly jealous, I would kill for a new Hi-Fi unit right now. New pair of speakers that I can't make use of and the unit I want goes for near £50 and I only have £35.
on windows 8.1 you have to enter an invalid microsoft account to make the "create local account" button appear :v:
No you don't. I remember explicitly debunking this, there's an option you can click at the very bottom. I'm not gonna load up an installer right now just to test, but I know for a fact you don't have to enter invalid credentials.
