Thats make me incredibly jealous, I would kill for a new Hi-Fi unit right now. New pair of speakers that I can't make use of and the unit I want goes for near £50 and I only have £35.
It's not a Hi-Fi unit, they are both full blown computers.

HTPCs ring a bell? Hehe they're meant to blend in with Hi-Fi units too but normally media centre orientated PCs are like that.

The top one even has phono in and out on the back, and the bottom one used to but I had to cut out the back-plate to fit a updated mobo. The new one on top has a standard replaceable backplate with the phono connections in a different place however, so they will stay when I replace the mobo.

Yeah I see it now, can't believe I made that error.

Well it's a testament to how well they blend in really.
The top one is still very underpowered but I'm not really going to use it till later on in the year when it will actually be underneath the telly.
It's currently got a Single Core Pentium 4 Prescott in (yes that is semi-passively cooled) and HD7750 in the graphics department.
The one below is a i3-3225 and 650Ti, soon to be 750Ti.
No you don't.
I remember explicitly debunking this, there's an option you can click at the very bottom. I'm not gonna load up an installer right now just to test, but I know for a fact you don't have to enter invalid credentials.
Really? I was stuck there for a while until i had to google the "solution".
What's also strange is that the licensing center doesn't have a 8.1 kms key

There should be an option for "Create an Account" or "I Don't Have a Microsoft Account", then at the bottom there should be a button to create a local account.

I'm gonna be so happy when I finally decide on some full-tower case and have tons of room. Maybe then the graphics card won't start overheating whenever I have the case lid on. I guess it's still used to that cold Swedish weather.
You don't need a full tower to fit what you have there. A mid tower would be fine. Hell, I think I could nearly fit your case in my mid tower.

Not on 8.1, you get instantly kicked to the microsoft account screen with nothing but two fields and the next button

wow that's confusing
gj microsoft consistent ui design, also a shoutout to android devs with swiping
Yeah it's kind of a mess. No reason for people to need a microsoft account on W8.1 like you need an iCloud/Google account on a phone.
I couldn't figure out how to get 8.1 to use a local account during install, so I pulled the Ethernet cable.
I like my Nexus 7, but why does the bass sound so..synthetic?
In other news, my phone's headphone jack is busted so I can only get left audio unless I put pressure on the right side of the plug.
Right.
So I followed your advice and upgraded my server and upgraded my OS. Newer drivers fixed a few bugs and added a few new services like IPv6 and NFS. Still have traditional services like MOTD, FTP and Remote Storage manager.
Unfortunately for reasons I still can't explain, while all documentation for my hardware and drivers say RSM is supported, RSM can see my LTO , library and tapes, but it can't ses my LTO drives and thus allow me to use any of my sexy 20tb of space. Fuck my life, I wasted two months of work. :suicide:
Just got back from IKEA and bought a left handed desk to use. So going to work on it tonight.
Going to timelapse it too!

Left handed desk? How does that work?
I assume it's a desk that goes on your left side.
guess where i got to tour today

yup, the local Intel wafer manufacturing plant in Rio Rancho, NM. apparently the CEO started out there.
Left handed desk? How does that work?
GALANT desks have right and left handed. The thickest part is which side it is. So a right handed desk has the left side as 24" and the right side as 32"
I flipped to a left handed to redo my room.
My dad works for a silicon wafer manufacturer, but I have no idea who they make it for.

Really Microsoft? A registry fix? You couldn't just add it in an update?
Oh well, now I have 20tb of storage, woo~

Don't accidently run the script and break the plant
I rearranged my room last night and my computer is now close enough to my router for me to use ethernet. Holy shit everything is so fast.
I'm sorry
You get two zings because I broke your merge.

The solution to building Android on Windows is "don't".
Seriously, just go get a Linux distro.
