Firefox is the first thing that opens on my desktop. Seriously, as soon as I login, Firefox starts up within two seconds. Apparently Windows 8 detects that there is a captive web portal and opens it automagically. Fortunately, its on my SSD system, so the slowest part is actually Cisco NAC starting up.
And the updates are frequent enough.
I've been editing this event video for a while now. It's surprisingly hard. They wanted less crowd stuff and more product shots, and wanted an interview put in, and want more photos, but they want it the same length. Like, these people think I'm a timelord or something. The video is now 30 seconds longer, but I don't really care. You can't just make something not take up time as you add it in.

I went post my motherboard and NUC back but then realised I didn't have my wallet, then realised I didn't have my keys. My brother leaves his phone off and he doesn't like answering the house phone, so I had to use my phone to get download steam friends then asked him to open the front door, so he did, luckily. Then I went to the post office and I had to pay $30 because PC case gear didn't give me a return label for the motherboard for some reason, just the NUC. And before all that, I had a dream I accidentally I killed a guy and I was going to jail.
It's been a horrible day. :suicide:

FFS, I got a new unity project going and it's going to be touch-centric. So I've installed Unity on my tablet, and Unity install is fucking 4.5GB, then the game project files are an additional 2GB or so. That's before I've added any real assets or anything. Tablet's full. Gonna have to move Unity and the project file to the SD card.

The package shipped today (well, Sunday) and is supposed to be here on Wednesday (only 3 business days) :v:
If this was UPS, I'd expect it here next Monday or Tuesday.

They have a DC like a block from my old warehouse, I'd see them at the nearby gas station all the time when I was getting breakfast or lunch...or almost running into their vans pulling out in front of me...
Also there was a murder/suicide at a paint store that shares the parking lot with them in January I think. :C

There's a long story behind that. I initiated the file transfer protocol on that Vista computer, and used Teamviewer on my computer at home (where I am right now) to post on Facepunch, and to find out our public IP address.
Anyway, this computer was acting up while I had Windows 7 installed on it for a long time, some time it just simply wouldn't boot anymore, so my dad decides to be ignorant and install fucking Vista on it, because this computer ''was built for it''.

On my ssd it takes 4 seconds for it to open up.
On my tablet it takes almost 14.
