I wondered why you'd steal one of those for a minute, then I remembered how fucking expensive they are :v:
seems like just somebody moved it, that's a relief gotta bolt them or something they're not that bad though, about $80 each [editline]4th March 2014[/editline]
So who else hates the new Google Maps? It performs like absolute shit for me, maps loading slower than before, jittery movement, things like directions and opening locations taking a minute to do anything
it's been slow ever since they introduced canvas
Anyone who says that the CCC is now a fully functional piece of software on par with Nvidia Control Panel is either bullshitting or a fucking moron.
I never had any issues with CCC after using AMD GPU's for the past 4 years. only problems I've been having have been recently, but that was because of my primary GPU dying. works fine now though that I have replaced primary with secondary
bing maps works the best, sadly google maps jerks around, takes a long time to zoom in and sometimes when you open it, it can take over 10 seconds to intitialize
http://phpthegoodparts.tumblr.com/
As a professional PHP developer, I can confirm that this is true. The entire PHP language core is shit. A good framework will alleviate a lot of that, but it's still a messed-up language.
So who else hates the new Google Maps? It performs like absolute shit for me, maps loading slower than before, jittery movement, things like directions and opening locations taking a minute to do anything
Where the hell is the find nearby button?

A good framework will alleviate a lot of that, but it's still a messed-up language.
My final database project in my database class was a PHP website that is supposed to access a MySQL database and output its filtered contents on the webpage. Which is fine, except: -There's no web programming course before this -We were never given an overview in PHP So my code was about as gnarly as you'd expect. Each row you got from the database was a new <tr></tr> being spat out in a PHP foreach. It worked, but goddamn was it shitty. And for someone whose life is C++ and C# and to some extent HTML, PHP makes no goddamn sense.
the fact that this is even a thing is unacceptable get your fucking shit together AMD
I have 2 pcs 1 with 2 7950s and one with a r9 290 all running beta drivers from amd and haven't had these issues above yet.
why the hell does Macs suck at connecting to school networks. On one ethernet cable, Network Accounts are available. Now switch that same ethernet cable to another and the Network Accounts does not work for the second Mac. Rebooting does nothing.
I just tested Steam In-Home streaming. Won't lie, it does have potential. Playing Skyrim on a 950 GMA at max settings at 720p30 30 fps awww yeah and the lag is fairly imperceptible.
Don't update your steam beta if you don't want your library to get shitted up with F2P games you don't play
Don't update your steam beta if you don't want your library to get shitted up with F2P games you don't play
My library is already shitted up with games I bought that I don't play.
Don't update your steam beta if you don't want your library to get shitted up with F2P games you don't play
Too late. :v: I was wondering why my games list looked bigger than usual.
By the way, if you're after a damn good 24" monitor, eBuyer's Today Only deal is the BenQ GL2450 at £100 squid (free 5 day shipping, or free next day if you get the newsletter) - it has has DVI-D, VGA, and HDMI in, as well as a super handy audio OUT jack you can plumb into your PC and use for HDMI sound. I use one as my main and am contemplating replacing my secondary Acer's with two more, they're that good
IDK but sometimes FLAC feels just so inefficient. So much space to store a few lossless Audio files, and the quality is increased by a minimal amount. (idk if my hearing is bad, but I don't hear any difference in FLAC and AAC/MP3 at all).
In terms of space, it's about 1.5-2 times the size of MP3 320s, though it depends a lot on the music. In terms of audiophile stuff, I can sometimes detect a difference between mp3 320 and FLAC with extremely good equipment. I can't accurately tell which is which at all though. MP3 V2 sounds like shit to me though in a side by side. MP3 V0 is decent, and I have difficulty accurately telling which is which relative to FLAC depending on the type of music. I simply keep FLAC for everything because it is useful to do so. If someone wants something that I have, I can give it to them in any bitrate, in any format with the maximum possible quality of encoding. 24 bit flac can go fuck itself though. That's just plain excessive and not useful. Tried out new folder structure for my music. Ended up not being able to find a single fucking thing, fuck it, deleted the entire thing.

(idk if my hearing is bad, but I don't hear any difference in FLAC and AAC/MP3 at all).
I don't use FLAC for actual listening, unless I just happen to be on that PC. Its more of an archival format for re encoding later. That way if the music needs to be in a certain file format, I just use the FLAC's rather than re encoding from MP3's or whatever.
i like php, it's forgiving and you don't have to lick it's ass making precise variables for exactly everything i also really like my recent findings of gmod lua
