This morning was horrible. I woke up and had horrible dizziness. Worst in my life. I could not even see straight as my eyes kept twitching wildly to "compensate" for the movement I felt. I was vomiting, but not a lot.
That was about 11am, it's not 9pm and I'm still very dizzy and can't really walk properly, but I'm no longer nauseous.
Makes it hard to even read my monitor.

This is called being sick and generally you should not be on your computer when you're sick
Go back to bed and rest
I slept for like 8 hours and then another 8 hours, besides I have too much work to do.
Also I wasn't sick, it wasn't like flu. It was nausea from the motion sickness. Some of my research says it might be calcium deposits in my inner ear that built up.

I remember when I was coughing up random gunk because of a cold/flu, WebMD said that I was probably abusing cocaine.

the new xbox 360 slim edition has all the features of the original model, such as overheating after an hour or so of gameplay
Nah that's just a built in screensaver

Did it feel like the world was distorting under and around you? Vision pulsing in an out sort of?
I've had that a few times when I've gotten very badly dehydrated. Usually as a result of going to bed without drinking and sweating a ton during the night.

For internet sure.
For accessing shared files. Forget it. I'm not spending an hour pushing a season of TV over wifi when I can do it in 5 minutes over LAN.

Mine runs fine. Never over heated, even after playing GTA 5 for several hours. It does slow down right at the borderline between being under water and above water when your in the submersible though.
And it is the new faux xbone slim one, not the old one.

Strangely enough I've never had much luck with windows shares on wifi, they are almost unusable. Same shares on a hardwired connection work fine on both my workstation and HTPC. My HTPC could give you a 45GB Bluray rip all day from my network without a single issue.
My solution for my laptop was enable the web server on my NAS and play video files "streaming" over the HTTP protocol :v: - FTP to upload.
Really annoying. This has happened with every laptop I have ever owned, across three versions of windows, 2 different NAS devices and 4 wireless routers.
Eating dinner at 1am isn't normal
But on DST it is
DST, not even once
I've been at the junkyard the past two days getting a new rear sway bar for my car. It's the first time I've done any real car-working stuff and I'm ecstatic. It was just me out there versus a 2005 Crown Victoria taxi with a Police Interceptor package. I was able to get the sway bar out easy as pie, but the endlinks were a whole heap of trouble. The first day I took 3 trips. First trip, got the sway bar and shackles out, no problem. Second trip, brought some more wrenches, still couldn't generate enough torque. Third trip, struggled some more and then the yard closed. Second day, I went there with two huge vise grips and a C clamp. I used the C clamp to clamp the ratchet on the top of the endlink to the chassis of the car, then the vise grip to torque that sucker out. I have developed a new respect for car mechanic's core and neck muscles. I can't turn my head or sit up without significant hurt.
ctrl backspace deletes a whole word... why didn't i know this already
That's like when I found that shift+arrow highlights and shift + tab makes tab go backwards (thanks C64 keyboard) and that spacebar = enter on tick boxes.
