after effects raytracing + gpu acceleration is godlike
hey guys I know where BRT works

Ok so I just visited my profile page and see this:

And I never left a message after No_Excuses posted one nor have I deleted any messages on my profile recently.
I am legitimately freaked out a little.

I swear that was much funnier when I thought of it.
Assetto Corsa is such a great game, especially if you have a wheel.
I really want to get a wheel but I can't in good faith justify spending more than $150 on a peripheral when that money could go to upgrading the rig itself. I'd love to have a g27 though, beautiful pieces of hardware.
Aye, I want a wheel too, but they cost so much for a good one.
How bloody hard can it be, just give me force-feedback, gear stick + paddles, and accelerator+brakes+clutch pedals, at a reasonable price.
i have a g27, but the lack of realistic car simulators makes me want to sell it
the only thing that comes close to realistic is euro truck simulator 2 but i want to drive cars
I play lots of LFS with my G27. ETS2, Scania Truck Sim, RoR, F1 2011 too. In terms of clutch control, I find LFS the closest to the real thing. I find the clutch is poorly simulated in most sim games.
I'm looking forward to the new wave of sims though, Project Cars, Next Car Game, BeamNG Etc.
the only thing i want is a freeroam car simulator with proper stick shift support, force feedback and all the instruments in a car

Midtown Madness 4? I want that to exist.
MM is my favorite "car" game of all time, I sunk so many hours into MM2 back in the day. And then MM3 on the xbox (Skip Car!)

It's, well, rough around the edges since it's a Russian indie game, but City Car Driving supports manual cars (that die if you dump the clutch etc), is fully moddable so you have fancy cars, and well, you drive around a Russian city. I played it religiously when I was on my sim swing a few months back.
I don't play any games because my computer (no matter which one I've had) has never been good enough to play games on above console settings
will edit 4 money

After a day or so fixing Ubuntu, finally some success.

Tried it, absolute rubbish of a simulator, not even force feedback.

Worked on my Driving Force GT just fine, although when I played it the only "situation" that really had force feedback is offroading. Which is like, 5% of the map.
pro tip here guys
if youre belonephobic and decide to get your ear pierced, dont fast.
went to get my ear pierced, no problem, it didnt hurt as much as i expected, i wasnt even too nervous, when i saw the massive gigantic titanic needle he was going to use i just turned my head and didnt look at it.
all was fine, i got up, looked at it, cool cool cool. as soon as i left the place i noticed i was staarting to get lightheaded. sat down at stairs, and my head got lighter and lighter, all sounds got really muffled. shit, im gonna pass out.
my moms bf ran and got me a coke and doritos to raise my blood pressure, and then i remembered - i only ate a little at 10am. i was fasting for 8 hours. and then i went to do a thing that involves one of my fears.
im a fucking idiot.
here's a protip
piercing your ears when you're a male makes you look like a douche and don't do it
ear stretching seems to be one of those things you're going to regret doing 15 years down the line when you're trying to get a job

who the hell are you anyway
imagine having opinions
im actually going to get a 2mm ear stretcher, gonna have to wait some good 6 weeks before even starting to stretch tho
I respect and endorse both having opinions and wearing most ear jewelry, but stretchers look stupid and ruin your earlobes

Oh god, stretching? You douche
I think I may of realised why my blu ray rips take up so much space, the ripper I was using saved the audio tracks of Seven different languages along with the subtitles. All in 5.1 uncompressed audio. Currently running it again to see if I can get it down with just one audio track and one set of subtitles.
It must be nice to have a place where you can rest your balls, while you're getting a blowjob

are you on the titanfall dev team?
are you on the titanfall dev team?
I don't think I've seen even a minute of gameplay from Titanfall.
I don't think I've seen even a minute of gameplay from Titanfall.
I watched a guy play it, seemed really dumb to me - its basically CoD mixed with Tribes and has mechs and overpowered status effects
Also having a 50gb install is inexcusable
especially when 35 gigs of that is uncompressed audio
from the little I've seen titanfall looks exactly like CoD with parkour imo
Titanfall was massively fun in the beta, the parkour felt really natural and not like it was shoehorned in [sp]brink[/sp]
The burn cards (single life upgrades basically) were sort of neat although I always forgot to use them because you only activate them when you're dead and when spawn times are like 5 seconds you don't get much time
The mechs are really badass, but at the same time feel vulnerable enough to not be overpowered or anything (a single guy can rodeo you to death, and two people can easily kill you with their anti-titan weapons if you're not careful)

Basically what I'm trying to say is it's not just "CoD with some gimmicks", they're actually very well integrated into the game if you actually play it
