I am however interested in the launch itself - I hope a lot of people buy the game, and try the play it, so Azure burns to the ground, I'll be extremely disappointed if I don't get to laugh so hard that the Americans can hear it.

Yeah the aimbot pistol is sorta BS. People either take the enhancement that makes you run faster and sprint around you while waiting to lock on, or take cloak and sprint up to you while you can't really see them.
I think they should nerf it so you can't lock on (Fully? At all? You need 3 locks to kill a pilot (player) vs 1 to kill the NPC grunts) while cloaked or sprinting.

The burn cards (single life upgrades basically) were sort of neat although I always forgot to use them because you only activate them when you're dead and when spawn times are like 5 seconds you don't get much time
The mechs are really badass, but at the same time feel vulnerable enough to not be overpowered or anything (a single guy can rodeo you to death, and two people can easily kill you with their anti-titan weapons if you're not careful)

Worked fine for me as long as my signal was strong. Then again I'm casual as fuck.
Speaking of which, I got home and noticed my G500's mouse wheel button only works when I push harder than usual. So far that's happened to me on a Razer Deathadder, a Logitech MX518 and now the G500. I mean fuck, I middle click a lot when web browsing but this isn't exactly a cheap mouse.
Any ideas for a mouse that doesn't suck? I'm looking at the Logitech Performance Mouse MX and it looks nice, though the scrollwheel looks similar to mine.

I managed to get to work ok at university using the floor wifi. And that was getting it to go across subnets and on a Wireless G laptop. It wasn't perfect, and there was giant packet spikes every so often, but if you expect it to be flawless you're to have a bad time. I attribute the inconsistent performance to it being done over Hamchi and the fact that it was 8 PM in a full dorm.

The instructions:
Pick a direction, pick a length, pick a color, and pick a symbol. It actually works quite well for me.
