It's still down for me.
Gone down here as well, checking with a bunch of networking folks on IRC as well. Edit: Welcome to the 2014 Steam Blackout folks.
yep also google just won the cloud storage game right now those prices are per month btw dropbox's 100gb plan is 9.99 a month, they don't even have a 1tb plan, the closest thing they have is 500gb at 49.99 a month
soon as i get a paycheck i may have solved my "nowhere to back shit up" problem awesome
I keep wanting to use Backblaze and push all like 12TB of my data up to it.
I keep wanting to use Backblaze and push all like 12TB of my data up to it.
whats stopping you?
Best part about Google Drive is Google+ Photos (Believe it or not Google+ is useful for something) If you upload through that, images below 2048x2048 won't count towards your quota Combine with ShareX and you have a service like puush, but free, and with almost zero limits
There's also that auto upload feature on Google+ android/ios app that is pretty useful for backing stuff up. It's pretty much also unlimited. I have yet to use it but it seems like a solid system. I just worry how it uploads based on which account I'm using so I don't really use it yet.
Upfront cost. The per month charge is like nothing, but you pay for the year in bulk, so I don't have the money for that. I don't have enough cash in general for that. Though I am getting more freelance video editing work, which should help.

Fuck, i was writing out a guide for setting up sharex for masterfen because steam was down I finished it, saved it, then deleted the file before uploading :suicide: Why do I shift+delete everything
Have you considered tape storage?
just wait for Archival Disc.
Definitely, but I don't entirely understand it enough to do it. And... Cost again. I think in the future I'd subscribe to Drive probably if I could make it literally a drive. 10 bucks a month for 1TB is insane and I'd totally use it for project files, photos, and probably most of my raw 60D stuff.
Tell me more about this guide
I tried to recuva it and apparently ABP's log overwrote it [editline]14th March 2014[/editline] Going to bed, I'll type one up tomorrow if you want it
Oh also my video is now live in wonderful 4K UHD

[t]http://i.imgur.com/kmJAJoY.jpg[/t] Should I do it?
You can just pay month by month. That's what I do
Oh i remember now. I knew I'd be using it for as long as they are around, so I figured I'd go with the cheaper 2 year plan but needed to have the hundred dollars up front.
All I've been doing for nearly an hour is watching every single one of Brt's videos to pass time while Steam is down.
All I've been doing for nearly an hour is watching every single one of Brt's videos to pass time while Steam is down.
Any worth watching yet?
Any worth watching yet?
Facepunch went sluggish and I couldn't even post a reply. And nah they're all good to me, especially the tech ones.

The ones where I unbox or the ones where I talk about computer stuff? I'd like to do more, but unsure of what to do.
Oh also my video is now live in wonderful 4K UHD
mmmm 4k

Even if I don't like them though, you generally have extremely high quality content.
Thank you for a brand new avatar. Needed to remove the christmas.
right...
thx valve [t]http://puu.sh/7u92O.jpg[/t] they somehow pushed an update for CS:GO which is actually a build from Aug 30, 2012 so anyone who downloads the 3gb update is downgrading and can't play until you download another 3gb update to get back to the current version
god damn my computer sounds like an airplane turbine while exporting sfm at 256

Speaking of which they still haven't released CS:GO on the EU PSN Store, only on the US. Something to do with certification.
