Funny thing is with those cards it that they will probably be supported by Linux for a good few years yet, 3DFX cards were still supported up until 2011.

Civ 4 was better than Civ 5 at release cause Civ 4 had lots of updates and expansions to make it better. Civ 5 is now on the same level as Civ 4 if not better due to updates and expansions.

Civ 5 sucks at a core level. BNW and G&K didn't fix that. They plated shit with gold leaf. It's still shit. Hell, when the whole new roads system needs to be thrown out and replaced, that's when you know the game is fucked. The lack of unit stacking was slightly interesting but overall bad since it completely changed strategy for the worst.
The new AI's are just buttfuck retarded. "OMG YOU SETTLED WAY TOO CLOSE TO ME. DENOUNCE DENOUNCE DENOUNCE." which none of the expansions or patches fixed.
They removed the leader attribution system and straight up dumbed that part down by just giving a single overall ability of sorts to each leader, which is fucked in the menu's since it never tells you in multiplayer games.
Oh, and one of the bigger oversights of the game that people never mention is the world generation is horrendous in 5. Shit starting areas are way more common. The base geography itself is fine, better even, but the resource distribution is shot to hell.
My biggest complaint with the game overall is the pacing is fucked. Turns and actions feel shitloads slower, but overall the game takes about 1/4 of the time a Civ 4 game would take.
Don't get me wrong, it's not all bad, the hex system is plain better among other things, but overall Civ 4 is a better game. G&K and BNW just haven't fixed it. They've helped, a lot, but it's still inferior. The only major reason to play it over 4 + expansions is it's prettier and easier to jump into (MUCH EASIER.). Oh, and they've never ever dropped the price from launch price in Australia excluding sales, so it took me fucking years to be able to get the game.

I use a Canon Picks MG6350, nice printer, good quality but expensive to run. It uses 6 cartridges which cost £60 for official ones from Canon.

Buy Canon if you want the best photo quality, Brother if you want an "all around printer". Stay away from the cheap models from HP and Epson.
If you want an small office grade printer then HP is quite good though. Many of the OfficeJet series from HP is cheaper per page than most Laserprinters today.
