I honestly would. It's like my dream gaming ultrabook came to life. Extremely powerful hardware, slim and light, high DPI display, and long battery life. What more can you ask for?
But I don't need an upgrade just yet, im okay with my 2012 rMBP right now.

My reason for getting a gaming laptop would be gaming while portable. That kinda defeats the entire point.
I don't know anyone who games with the battery. Most of the time you get about half an hour of battery anyway.

Agreed. You generally need an external enclosure for the enclosure box as well, because they're not designed to power a 400W GPU.

Once my laptop dies it'll probably be between this or an rMBP and honestly the Blade is looking like a very attractive alternative. With a 512GB SSD it's about the same price as an rMBP but it's much more powerful. It probably has much worse battery life but that's a trade I'll make. My only real complaint would be it having only a 14" screen. I think I'd prefer a 15.6" but other than that it looks brilliant. Plus it's even got a touchscreen.

it's a shame Platinum still haven't fixed the issue with fullscreen and the FPS locking in MGR. it's been out for over 3 months on the PC, and only one patch? and they didn't even fix the most annoying bug with fullscreen?
