But only by a handful of frames depending on the game.

Plus by now shouldn't the 660 be cheaper anyway?
But only by a handful of frames depending on the game.
750 Ti seems to be the cheaper option, so. Perhaps a better option.
They actually seem to be around the same price depending on the brand.
Bluetooth is nice
I'm done with my fucking job. I just want to take next week off and book a last minute flight to Mexico. I have been cleaning up this fucking idiot's mess consistently for the past 3 weeks, and they're twice my age and get paid eight times as much.

What happened?
A bunch of stupid shit. For example:
Literally just created a bug, asks in the details:
Could this be due to authentication problems?

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "blah"". The conflict occurred in database "blah", table "blah", column blah'.
Je-fucking-sus. Learn to read.
QA person. Loves to copy exception logs. Does not read them. Blames cause on something else. Completely ignores procedure. Protocol7's homicidal tendencies rising.
The 750 Ti has better power usage and slightly better compute (But who gives a shit if you're buying it for games), but 660 outperforms in game framerate absolutely every time.
As far as I'm aware the EVGA 750Ti ACX FTW is the best of the 750Tis if you have a 6pin free, as it seems to be able to constantly hit >1400MHz when Overclocked, my 750Ti without 6pin can only manage 1200Mhz before it gets power throttled.

It's faster than a 660 when overclocked to those speeds and cheaper than most low-end 660s.
TIL UE4 is now available and has a subscription model.
The fucking game maker level editor is the worst thing in the world and doesn't work for longer than 3 seconds without having to restart GM in it's entirety
good lord
btw how is your 750 ti going
[editline]20th March 2014[/editline]
my merge why
Pretty decently, it feels more like an enthusiast card at 1080p, whereas the 650Ti feels more mid range.
I will do the benchmarks but I've been rather busy here. I have my CCNA exam tomorrow but after that I'm done with Uni for this term, so I should be able to get them done fairly soon.
Here's the damage to my camera

Getting it fixed asap

The only run in I've ever had with Bluetooth in the Wiimote, bit fiddly but then again I suppose it was never intended to work with a PC.

Its faster than a GTX 480 Think about that for a moment!.
Uses no power only a pcie lane.
I hope amd will also release such an card once. But i can't wait to see the fully Maxwell lineup.
Are those actual disk images?
CD keys
CD keys
Oh okay, I could see pictures of CDs in the folders and I thought you were joking.
Pictures of the labels on scrapped laptops. :v:
Earlier I posted about a piece of equipment I have no idea about:

As far as I can ascertain through some menu browsing, it's some sort of Router. I have an ISDN card module too, that was on the shelf above it.

Its definitely a sort of Enterprise router. I remember a professor of mine showing pictures of one just like that (albeit more modern) as part of an upgrade of the university's vCloud cluster.
They are also very, very expensive. :v: I think theirs cost like somewhere between $30-70 grand with the education discount.

I don't think there's much hope of AMD doing that, most of their current mid-range cards are last gen with boosted clocks and increased power consumption.
A lot of people are going "lol power consumptions doesn't matter its all about price/performance" but AMD's strategy of saying "fuck power consumption lets boost clocks" seems very reminiscent of the Pentium 4 palaver.

Cray is a supercomputer manufacturer.
You got a model number or a serial number or something?
Cray does make supercomputers, some sinister looking ones at that, but that looks like a router
Cray does make supercomputers, some sinister looking ones at that, but that looks like a router
Indeed, and I can't find anything Cray related that is smaller than a vending machine so I have no idea where to start looking without knowing some form of identifying number.
In the software there's reference to the model number being "SE-1401". Apart from that the onboard menu just seems to access each module's internal software.
I did manage to ping it with my laptop though. So there's some sign of life.
Only thing I can find is a number of sites offering refurbished "SE-1401 System Centers" for prices obtainable only through quotes. I cannot find a single picture of it though, not a single one.
It's very strange, The power supplies were last tested 1997 so they must be a bit older than that. Old hardware but interesting. If only I could find a manual or something.
In the room this came from there's shelves of ISDN and BT Fibre equipment (And an installed Fibre line from, I assume, the nearest exchange)
just gonna interject here,
if something is only offered through quote pricing
it's hella expensive

I think it was mentioned somewhere as a chassi, probably with PSU in it, and from the pic it would look like a router / switch chassi with line card slots (or similar enough). Going by the size and look, i would guess some kind of higher end device. Like, data center or core*

Call me naive but I was hoping that they'd announce a new unreal tournament before they release the engine
NMap found an open port (26), Telnetted into it and found a management interface... With a password.
