Which would be better for using on a computer that will only ever be used for controlling a 3D printer over a web interface and is extremely weak? Windows 7 or Windows 8.1?
3.1[1], the last true Windows. [editline]20th March 2014[/editline] Note to self, check post times and thread pages before posting again.
Linux.
Linux drivers for VIA hardware are nearly nonexistent, especially for outdated hardware like the P820. I tried Mint on it a while ago, and I simply couldn't get the Ethernet port to work, which stops me dead in the water.

Looking at some of these GPU mods, seriously considering hacking a H60 onto my 480 They're using cheapass antec coolers and getting 48 degree full load temps, mine's idling at 80

I could get a Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB or a PNY XLR8 120GB for my laptop. Anyone know if they're shit? I haven't kept up with SSDs at all, because I never thought the prices would come down this much. The PNY drive says max read 500MB/s, max write 450MB/s, SandForce SF 2241 or SF 2281 controller, MLC.

I might just hold off until the technology becomes a bit better, I don't need much drive performance on my laptop, I was mostly interested in the power savings. The fact that TRIM fucks with full disc encryption also bothers me, which is the second reason why I haven't bothered looking at SSDs much yet.
Samsung 840 Pro is arguably the best SSD out there, 840 EVO is an excellent performer as well.
... Checked the prices on the 120GB 840 EVO When the fuck did SSDs drop down this much?

I don't see any mistakes though, where exactly are they? :v: [editline]20th March 2014[/editline] Unless you meant the smudgy clone stamping around the eyelashes That's just because painting around hair is fucking tedious, nobody likes doing tha

FInally got the correct cable for the floppy drive, when I get home I'm gonna try a floppy boot disk. No fucking clue what I'm going to do even if it does work though because I have no clue how I'm gonna install Ubuntu Server using a floppy boot disk. Wait... this SmartBootManager thing looks like my best bet. I'll try that when I get home.
For some reason TF2 locks at 60 without v-sync when I have double precision enable on the Titan [editline]21st March 2014[/editline]
FInally got the correct cable for the floppy drive, when I get home I'm gonna try a floppy boot disk.
Legendary page
No it's not
2^10 page. I'll celebrate at 2^32. Also I ordered the 840 EVO.
Why not the 840 Pro.
Okay, and how do you suggest I get said image to the drive? You would use Windows 2003 boot disks and then just install Linux from there. [editline]21st March 2014[/editline]
Why would you play a game with DP enabled.
I wanted to see what would happen and it didn't disappoint, no frame tearing at all.
You load the Scsi and ethernet drivers in Ghost and boot from floppy disk, you need Ghost 8.0 .
Orrrr I boot this bootmanager from floppy and then use it to boot the Ubuntu Server disk and proceed normally.
