Consult the creator of your distro, maybe they had a reason for it?

I really wish I had the money to do this, damn why did I throw out that computer two years ago. Would of been perfect.
When I was IT tech at a secondary school our router was giving us problems, so we took a spare student PC and put pfSense on it, worked a treat.

Thats what I'm looking at, my college has some Core2Duo Dell machines that would be perfect for the job. Its getting my hands on one that is the issue, I think my network tutor would notice if I went into the back room of the hardware and networking lab.
Tell him/her you're looking for Adobe
Jesus christ why didn't I get Mount & Blade earlier
started playing it around 10pm and played it until 6 am
game is fucking amazing

Don't you have a titan and dual xeons? :v:
I wonder, whar's a good mobile browser on a 3 year old Android phone? Right now it runs Gingerbread 2.3.5
I've tried Firefox Nightly, but it ran really sluggish. Opera Mini runs good though, but I want the lighest browser possible.

Not much to do, i suggest getting a new phone like a Lumia 520, 620 or wait for the 530 and 630 which will be announced in april.
yay my HTPC now fits a xeon 5420 with the LGA775-771 mod and that's apparently powerful enough to play most PS2 games

wouldn't say it's completely out of reach, it's affordable.

I found the stock browser to work best on low end devices..

I read Spark Browser for some reason
opera mini is the lowest, as it even compresses the data in opera servers before sending it to you.
otherwise opera mobile is good.too.
FFS, I wish the electric company would take their money out of my account already. I paid my bill on Thursday but they didn't take the money out of my account. Their website says I don't owe any money and my bill is paid, but the money is still sitting in my account. >:S

Yeah I suppose, but I'm not paying the electric bill and to be fair a computer isn't going to be ruined by a few knocks is it? I've lost count the amount of times the router downstairs has been knocked to the floor. I could simply put it under the actual PC in use downstairs.

God, I want a slotloading USB drive so much.
I don't have a working CD drive or even spare SATA ports, so I can't install old games.
play music was just released in Norway. opinions on it?
It's very good if you want a Spotify-like app (ie streaming app with option to download albums / playlists) and want to upload your own music to it instead of paying monthly.
In terms of the All-Access service, I found it was lacking quite a few artists so I'd use Spotify instead of that. (Although that will depend on your music taste.)

In my case the compression is even more extreme.

Well to be fair the YouTube screen shot was when stuff was moving which looks bad compared to the still or less motion screen shot in the original video recording.

Well you can, but only if you are the Developer.
We already discussed that, it's a rich kids toy. Completely out of reach for any normal people like you or me.
No, you posted it and made a cunty remark, then the rest of us discussed how it was an excellent machine and reasonably priced considering the great hardware and incredible screen. But obviously we all were wrong because you've unilaterally decided that any laptop that's expensive is a rich kids' toy, so I don't know why we bothered.
[editline]22nd March 2014[/editline]
This is why people are rude to you, because you act like a huge arrogant asstwat.
If I had shitloads of money to spend on a machine I'd buy a Blade. I don't care enough to build PC's anymore, and it seems like it's an improvement over the usual shitty plastic gaming laptops.
In other news: Chipotle > Hangovers
[editline]22nd March 2014[/editline]
Also if you want to get semantic, any good gaming PC is a "rich kid's toy." You gotta pay to play.
